Too Much Caffeine?

CoffeeI noticed after a few hours of having one cup of coffee, that my face is numb. I've had this problem before with coffee and with Excedrin as well. If you're not familiar with Excedrin, it's a headache medicine that contains a great amount of caffeine. I am now wondering if I am sensitive to caffeine. The funny thing is I can drink caffeine tea and I don't have this problem. I think I am going to check into this later.

An update on my boss. Apparently she told the pay department to pay the amount owed and they screwed it up. The bad news is, I won't get the rest of my pay until after Thursday. Sigh.

  1. Hiya, I thought I'd drop by and take a look around :)
    Neat blog :)

I know from having migraines that the caffeine makes the blood vessels in the head constrict. Which sometimes makes a migraine feel better.

"Blood vessel dilation is a known cause of headache, and caffeine is often included in headache remedies because it helps to constrict painfully dilated blood vessels in the head."

So I'm thinking that the blood vessels may be constricting in your head and face and it's going numb :)
