Stress...
The pictures below are said to be used to test the level of stress a person can handle. The slower the pictures move, the better your ability of handling stress. Alleged criminals that were tested see them spinning around madly; however, senior citizens and kids see them standing still. None of these images are animated - they are perfectly static.

Very interesting! If I let my eyes go unfocused, they don't move at all, but if I try to focus on them, they move ever so slightly. On the middle one, the column to the left never moves, though the other two do. I wonder how I would've seen these yesterday when I was full to the brim with stress!
ReplyDeleteInteresting stuff!!!
ReplyDeleteInitially all three figures seemed to move slowly. Then I put on my glasses which I can't really wear while I read or work on the computer. Lo and behold, that stopped the movement even when I took the glasses back off.
ReplyDeleteHow am I supposed to write a comment with those things spinning out of control like that?
ReplyDeleteThe pictures seem to move faster as your eyes move. I wonder if convicts have that nervous tension that makes them look around the picture rather than directly at the picture.
Very cool! They just moved very slowly for me. Guess I handle stress pretty good.

ReplyDeletethey were static for me....maybe it's the artist in me :)
It seemed like the flowers moved the slowest for me. Very interesting. I would like to see what would happen if I showed my three year old that.
