Bittersweet Revenge

Ohh Yes, revenge can be very bittersweet. And who better to play the part of a revengeful man than actor, Johnny Depp. Two simple words. Sweeney Todd. He's lost his wife, his child and most recently... his mind. Imagine having your family taken away by someone with a pure heart of jealousy. What would you do? Or better question. What would Sweeney Todd do?

Johnny Depp portrays a revenging husband who's come back to collect the life of the man who sent him away as well as others who have done him wrongin Tim Burton's Sweeney Todd.

Setting up shop as a barber and slashing his way back into the life of his child, Joanna with the help of Mrs. Lovett, an old family friend (played by Helena Bonham Carter),... Sweeney Todd no doubt makes revenge look soo bittersweet.

Another sweet revenge movie that comes with the ultimate price is, "Heathers" which starred actor Christian Slater. In it, he portrays a troubled teen who seeks revenge on those who have tortured him. A good example of revenge is when he decides to blow up the high school, but instead straps the dynamite to himself in an attempt to win over his once sweetheart, played by Winona Ryder. Heathers is just as creepy and twisted as Sweeney Todd.
