Apparently there was a misprint of of her father, Billy Ray Cyrus being present at the photo shoot. In his latest press release, he tells the media that he was not present for the Vanity photo shoot and was surprised as much as everyone else at the outcome of the photos.
While he did say in his own words that stuff happens, he also noted that maybe he should have been at the photo shoot. Hmmmm
Wow! Yeah, maybe he should've been there. That's sad.
ReplyDeleteI love that Vanity Fair Magazine! I thought the Shots were Tastefully Done - No Nudity + hey Annie Liebowitz is an Amazing Photographer!
ReplyDeleteBilly Ray Cyrus was there + in the shot + as he explained he simply Loves his Daughter*
maybe the World could use a little More of that*
;)) Peace*
To Quote from Yahoo News: "NEW YORK - Billy Ray Cyrus says he wasn't around when Annie Leibovitz photographed his 15-year-old daughter, Miley, wrapped in a sheet with her back exposed, for the June issue of Vanity Fair magazine.

"I wasn't there at the time," the 46-year-old country star said in an interview Tuesday on NBC's "Today" show.
"(Miley's) publicist was there, and everyone seemed in control," he said. "I didn't know they (were) gonna strip her down and wrap her with a blanket."
"So I was surprised when I saw it, you know, but ... stuff happens. That's life."
Then why is he draped around her in Half the Shots*

+ none of the Shots are outrageous at all*
Billy,
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing this. That is interesting. Maybe yahoo news has been misinformed. Another theory could be he was at the photo shoot, but left when the partially nude shots were done?
The photos do not look too bad. She does look a little too grown up with all of the makeup, but then again she is a teen.
Still partially nude photos are not what Disney is apparently looking for in a role model.
