I'll be honest, I'm not a huge fan of rap music. However, there are a few artists I can stand to listen to. DMX is actually one of my favorites. And then there's Eminem. But with Eminem it's the Rap Lyrics behind the music that I like. DMX, well, it's that voice!
Interestingly enough while I do like listening to the above artists, I have never once seen any of their rap music videos. Maybe I am just behind in the times and old age has finally caught up with me? HA! Do any of you listen to rap music? If so, what's your favorite artist? If not, what types of music do you enjoy listening to?

Funny! I love DMX's voice, too. I'm not a big fan of the new-school rap... my favorite of all time is LL Cool J (ah, I love him!!). I do really like R&B, old school (Al Green and such), contemporary christian, and reggae.

I would have to say it's not just rap that the lyrics catch my attention on. Just about any artist I listen to.... it's because of the lyrics. With a few exceptions of course. Bach, Mozart, etc. :)
