One thing about owning a home is the risk of termites. I know when we first bought our home we were told to invest in having our home's foundation checked for termites. While that's the first step in keeping those little suckers away from your home, it's certainly not the last.

Most pesticide businesses recommend that you have your home inspected at least once a year. That might seem like a lot and you might not like the cost, but if you avoid having those pesty wood eaters inspected for, you're in for an even pricier situation when they do invade your home and the damage has been done!
