Dear Mr. President, Are Your Kids Out Of School In Honor Of You Today?

I don’t know about the rest of the world, but not every child is out for President’s Day and it makes me wonder why. Mine went to school today, while 20 miles in either direction, did not. Oklahoma is out too, so what gives in this little Smallville of a town we call Independence, Kansas? Why are all of the children going to school on this suppose to be celebrated holiday while the post office and banks are closed in this town? Not even Superman may know the answer to this question, but I bet President Obama just might! What about your school? Are your kids out today?
