I don’t own any gold chains, which I’m almost glad I don’t since lately my jewelry has grown legs and started walking off. What gold I do have happens to be a ring, and it’s not much.
And to be honest, I don’t need gold in order to enjoy beautiful jewelry. Heck, I don’t even needs diamonds or pearls. Costume jewelry can be just as beautiful and less likely be stolen unlike the real thing. Of course, not everyone will agree with me and sometimes it is not the best sight when you see someone wearing a piece of jewelry that happens to turn their skin awful colors due to the metals in it. Sometimes gold can truly be a beautiful thing in more ways than one.
