The Move

She wrapped the christmas ornaments carefully in the bubble wrap and placed them in the box. They were the only pieces she had left of her family's history and she wasn't about to let her husband pack them up. He was in a hurry to get things moved, tossing whatever he could find in baskets and boxes with no padding. He was always in a hurry, but what bothered her more than anything was they'd move and a few months later he was wanting to move again. She was tired of moving and couldn't understand why they couldn't stay in one place. They were getting older now and her body didn't move as quick as it use to.

"You about got that box packed?" She let out quiet sigh at her husband's question. When he was determined there was no stopping him.
"Yes." She wasn't really ready, but then she never was.
