Angelina Nursing Her Baby Not Allowed?

I just don't get it. People are having issues because a photo that actor Brad Pitt took of actress Angelina Jolie for a magazine cover, shows her nursing. Ironically you can barely even see anything from what I understand.

So I'm not understanding what the real issue is? Apparently this isn't the only time people have had an issue with her breastfeeding. She donned a nursing bra under her tank top on the cover of People magazine and that apparently had people in an uproar???

I remember when a neighbor friend of mine who is also a writer once got a ticket for breastfeeding in her vehicle on her lunch break at work. I guess for some people it seems, when a baby is hungry let them starve until you are at home. But it's okay for someone to be in a teeny tiny bikini on a sports magazine cover. No complaints there! Geesh!!!! Some people need to really grow up. I see no problem with breastfeeding as long as it's done tastefully and covered up. A baby has to eat too you know!

The Media at it's Worst with Angelina Jolie

I've noticed Angelina Jolie and partner Brad Pitt have been in the news very heavily lately. It's because of the expected birth of the twins, but just about everyone knows that already.

Boy how times flies though. I could have sworn is was just yesterday when she announced or rather, actor Jack Black announced the pregnancy. Right now it looks like she's hanging out in a hospital in Paris France. Nice! But I know it's not so nice that at this stressful time Angelina and Brad are having to deal with the media trying to snap photos of their every move. Come on, give the couple a break, will ya?

I understand that Angelina and Brad chose the life they did and know the consequences, but I believe the media needs to be respectful as well. And this insane thing about snapping fake pics and claiming their of Angelina and the twins? Wow. I am absolutely speechless. Why stoop to such levels.

I saw that the hospital is covering the windows for Angelina and Brad's privacy, so bravo to them! The only thing that sucks is Angelina will need to spend the remainder of the time in the hospital until the birth of the twins which could be weeks! I know her pain. It can be very boring having to be in a hospital bed for weeks.

I wish Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt both the best on the birth of their twins!

Angelina Jolie Expecting Twins, But is She Pleased?

Apparently the cat's out of the bag thanks to Angelina Joline's co-star, Jack Black. It seems that in an interview with Today's Show, actor, Jack Black hinted that his co-star is expecting twins with partner Brad Pitt. While Black did apologize for letting Jolie and Pitt's little secret slip, I truly wonder just how pleased she is about the whole ordeal.

I am sure there was a very good reason she didn't want the media knowing that she is expecting twins and whatever that reason is, is her private business. I am also sure however that, Mr. Black didn't intentionally announce her twin pregnancy.

Despite what's happened, the deed has been done and at least now, Ms. Jolie can breathe a sigh of relief somewhat and concentrate on her soon to be twin babies. CONGRATULATIONS Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt! 6 kids is quite a handful!!!

Music To Your Child's Ears

A few months ago I was sent a CD from Name Your Tune and promised a review. With personal problems on the rise and my busy schedule I must apologize for this long overdue review. Also, due to the late review, I am placing a link for Name Your Tune's website until after 2008 at the sponsored area to the right of my page. I also want to thank Name Your Tune for sending me the CD and allowing me to review it. Now, on to the review!

Name Your Tune's CD for children isn't any ordinary kid's music CD. It's far from it. Each musical CD allows your child the experience of hearing their name over and over again through each individual song on the CD. Your child can sing along to classic favorites like, Wheels On the Bus, Head And Shoulders and the ABC's Song.

At first when I presented my kids with their music CDs, the look on their face was, "Uhh Okay." However, after hearing their names in each of the songs, their eyes lit up and they were non-stop talk about the CD for hours. It's a CD I know they'll enjoy for a long time.

Each CD is special since it is specifically made for your child. Your child's name is used over 80 times in 14 fun songs your he or she will want to sing along to. And with Over 3,000 names to choose from, you're sure to find your child's name. If not however, you can simply let them know and they'll record your child's name to their next recording session. You can also personalize your child's CD with a message to him or her, making it a gift that will be cherished for years to come.

The best part about it is the price. For a personalized CD, I expected an expensive price tag. Not so with Name Your Tune. Their CD's are only $20 each or $18 when you purchase two or more at the same time. Even greater is the fact that Name Your Tune donates a portion of their sales to Hear Here, a non-profit organization that purchases hearing aids for children in need. How cool is that?

The fun thing about it is, even celebrity moms and dads like, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, Matt Damon, Reese Witherspoon and Adam Sandler have a Name Your Tune's music CD.

If this sounds like something your little one would enjoy, please be sure to drop by Name Your Tune's website. If you do decide to purchase a music CD from them, please feel free to drop me a comment and let me know what you think of the CD. Keep in mind that the CD would make a wonderful birthday or Christmas gift. I gave mine as birthday gifts. :)
