Family Fun a Magazine I Truly Heart

Disney FamilyFun (1-year auto-renewal)There aren't too many family magazines out there that I really love, but several years ago I was introduced to a magazine called Family Fun. After flipping though just a few of it's fun filled pages I fell in love.

The magazine covers topics on getting crafty with your kids and offers fun vacation ideas for the entire family. It's actually how I learned about the Nickelodeon Cruise Ship!

And as oblivious as I've been lately on reading, I never really realized that this great little magazine is a part of Disney! How insane is that? Right now they're offering a killer deal on both 1 and 2 year subscriptions and if I could afford to do so, I'd buy a 2 yr subscription in a heartbeat.

Check it Out:

2 Yr Subscription to Disney Family Fun Magazine

Dreaming of a Vacation

One of the plans we have is to take a Disney vacation before the kids are grown. We'll have to do that soon since our oldest is already 14!

right now I am seeing that Disney vacations has some great packages on all of their theme parks. I've already been to their theme park in Orlando, FL, twice. I would love to go again.

A little less than a week ago I was talking to my aunt, who has never been to Disney World. One of her dreams is to do so. She has always wanted to go ever since she was a kid. Maybe one if these days we can save enough money so that we can all go. Disney has changed so much over the years, so I know it will be easy for all of us to find something we love!

Playing Bingo with Disney

I am a game lover, but anymore it's rare for me to be able to sit down and enjoy anything fun. When I visited my mother-in-law in Kansas City a while back, one of the things that we did was visited the casinos and played bingo. I love that game and miss it! It reminds me of when I played bingo as a child.

Although it is no longer legal, I would sit beside my great aunt and play her cards during the game. If I won, I would tell her and she would yell out the BINGO! For helping her with the game she usually gave me some of the prize money.

Times have changed and today bingo and winning prize money is for adults only. Children are no longer allowed to participate in their bingo games. So instead, there are kids'games like Disney Bingo, which can be just as fun! The great thing about the Disney Bingo is that its on DVD. Interactive games are wonderful, I think. And while the prize might not be money like I received when I was a kid, parents can easily create their own special prizes for the winners of the game.

Maybe a piece of candy or a free day where a child can rent a movie of his or own choosing? The winners possibilities are endless and so is the fun. If this sounds like a blast to you, remember, Christmas time is just around the corner. I'm a big fan of Amazon.com because of their free shipping and I've already seen that they carry Disney Bingo!

Check out the video and let me know what you think....

Dreaming of a Vacation and Organic Tea

When I was a kid my dad was big on taking vacations. He loved getting out and seeing new places, so by the time I was 10, we had seen Orlando, FL and Disney World, twice. I loved Disney World and being able to ride the rides, like the Tea Cup, going underwater in a submarine and viewing Disney and the shops on a roller coaster ride.

That was over 20 years ago. I haven't been on a vacation since then. I really wouldn't mind heading back to Florida. A few Orlando vacations and I'll be in pure vacation heaven. Then while I am in Orlando enjoying my vacation, maybe I can check out the organic tea cafe that I wrote about in a recent article. Goofy, the Ocean and sipping tea on the beach. What more could a girl ask for?

Disney Dreams

One of these years before all of the kids are grown, I'd like to take a family vacation to Orlando Florida. While I love vacations, the one thing I'm not fond of are hotels. To me a hotel is just more stress and I don't feel at home in them. I would love to be able to just rent a vacation home.

Lowery's Vacation Homes offers, vacation home Orlando. I can get a pool home a town home and even a condo.

Hmmm now which do I choose? I did find a beautiful 4 bedroom pool home on special that I would love! However, there are 7 in our family, so we'll need more than just a 4 bedroom. The great news is they do offer 6 bedrooms which is perfect for our family!

I don't know about the rest of you, but I'm ready for a vacation!
