A New Social Network Site

With the recent economy meltdown, I'm always looking for new ways to promote my blog and my website. So, when a new opportunity sows itself, I'm all eyes.

Lately, I've been hearing a little about Acobay, a new social network whose goal is to promote bloggers. It's certainly an interesting concept, but I'm wondering with it being new, how will their company survive in the current economic crisis.

The unique thing about Acobay however, is that they want you to share stuff you own and places you've been. But, really I'm not sure why other members would want to know about the stuff you own unless you have it up for sale. Now the places you've been, I could see because it's an easy way to explore the world.

I'm just learning about the network, so I can't honestly say that I love it. To me it's just another social network where I can promote my work!!! But, who knows! I may find that I like it even more in the near future and blog more about it. Until then, feel free to check it out for yourself and let me know what you think.

You Won't Get Rich Quickly, But You Will Make Money.

Ever wondered where all of the money made from ads, etc. goes ...from social networks like,
Myspace, Facebook, etc? Well, it's pretty obvious it goes straight to their pockets. Every time we sign up for an account like theirs, they get paid from the ads we view, pages we visit, etc. Sounds pretty fair, doesn't it?

A while back I signed up for a social network known as Yuwie, a network that I was again reminded about several weeks ago. I forgotten I was member until I tried signing up under a friend. Now why I didn't keep my account active, I will never really know, but it was a dumb move on my part.

All of this time I could have been making a little extra cash by visiting friend's pages and
leaving them comments, etc. Things I have a habit of doing on a daily basis with other
social networks, anyway. But instead, I am getting paid for it.

How? Well, it's that little thing called Ads. The very same thing that networks like, Myspace
and facebook are making a big profit off of, Yuwie is sharing with it's users. Is there a
catch? Nope. It's free just like the other social networks.

Want to know more? Here's how it works:

  • Simply hang out on Yuwie's website.
  • Visit your friend's pages.
  • Leave comments on your friend's pages.
  • Get your friends to do the same.

That's it. Really. It's that easy. If you want to make even more money, you can refer others
and have them sign up for an account through Yuwie as well. When they refer others and/or
have their friends visit their page and leave comments, etc. You make money. The more you
do, the more money you make. It's that simple.

Even on the months I wasn't active, I noticed I'd made $0.54 cents. I had one friend. That
was it. $0.54 cents for doing nothing. How insane is that? It might not be enough to make me
rich, but $0.54 is better than nothing at all. And now that I am an active member, the
possibilities are endless!

If you love networking with friends, why not make a little money while you are doing it?
It's easy and free. Go Ahead. Give it a try and let me know what you think.
