I'll be honest. I'm not very impressed with Cashcrate right now. In the past I've praised them because it was an easy way of making a little extra money without having to purchase anything. This morning however, I dropped by the website to view my earnings. To my surprise, my pending amount is now set at zero and the amount I earned is only a $1.00 more. Meaning, all of the surveys I completed that added up to $8.00 were dissed and dismissed.
Those surveys were categorized as 100% free. Meaning you did not need to purchase anything to earn money. What I noticed when I filled out those surveys however, was that..... they were the type of surveys that ask you to sign up for other offers that require you to spend money. Sure you can click on the free offers that they do have (which of course I did), but in the end their goal is to get you to click on an offer that requires you to spend money.
Now what irritates me is that Cashcrate has these type of surveys listed as 100% free, which of course as it turns out.... They're not. Maybe to Cashcrate's eyes they are, since you don't have to spend money to fill out those surveys, but.... What it all boils down to is, you don't get paid for your time through Cashcrate after your visit...unless you sign up for an offer that requires you to spend money.
For now, I will continue to be a member of Cashcrate, but until they correct the 100% free category, I will not be filling out surveys as often as I used. It's just not worth my time.
