Update on Finances

It's been two weeks again. Wow how time flies. Here is the first two weeks for October for my online earnings. Things are getting a little better, but I just wonder how long that will actually last. I did manage to make an extra payment towards an old credit card from my past! It was more than double of the orginal payment which is great! Now the balance of that bill is at $900!

October 1st -14th

Private Sales: $246.00
Payu2blog: $15.00
Payperpost: $ 23.50
Associated Content: $1.68
Slice The Pie: $10.00
Kontera: $0.12
Adbrite: $0.00
Cashcrate: $0.84

This two weeks total is: 297.14. Not too bad. Could use a lot of improvement though.

September Financial Update

Things are getting better since I've been pulling in a little more money. Even with the loss of a certain company's sales, things are going good. I have added a new company this week called Adbrite. I've already made some sales with them which is awesome since I just started with them this month.

Here are totals for my last two weeks' of September:

September 14-30

Payu2blog $25.00
MySurvey $10.00,
Cashcrate $1.00
payperpost $52.00
SocialSpark $21.45,
Private Sales $180.00
Kontera $0.05
AdBrite $1.03

This brings the total for the two weeks to $290.53. Now while that might not be a tremendous amount of money for some people, it's really decent for me and almost as much as I made when I work at microtel here in Independence, Kansas. Plus, if the next two weeks goes really well, it will be a little bit over what I need for bills, which means I can put more towards one of the credit cards that I am aiming to pay off.

There are only two credit cards that I need to pay off and their now both under $900! The card that I used for emergencies only is no longer being used, due to the interest rates being taken out two times a month. Was this a mistake on their part? As it turns out, no. So the card is not worth keeping in my opinion. If we ever decide to get another credit card for emergencies, I'll take closer look at the fine print the next time.

Speaking of credit cards, my husband was offered one at the bank where our mortgage is. He was pre-approved for $1500.00 and the interest rate was 5.9%. That's really low and something sounded a little fishy to me, so at the time I convinced my husband that he should hold off on applying for it.

Plus, I have this fear that if he does get the card, he'll be spending the money on non-emergencies and we'll be right back to where we started. With the economy as it is, we certainly don't need any more financial debt!

BTW, if you haven't already, be sure to check out Work at Home Mom Revolution's post on: Recession-Proof Strategies for Work at Home Moms and Dads. It's scary to think just how bad this economy has gotten and that we're having to do a bail out. And what if that bail out falls through? What then?

Finally an Update on Cashcrate

I figured it was time to update Cashcrate, once again. I have been a member of cashcrate for a while now and have received two checks from them!

While I have not made much from them in a while, it's only because I haven't really been very active with them. Still, I am seeing cash coming in from those I refer to cashcrate, which has been really nice! 7 wonderful and fabulous referrals which is awesome!

When I was first referred to cashcrate by another mom who claimed she made $400 a month with cashcrate, I was very skeptical. I mean really, how was it possible? But, I signed up through her and tried them. I'm glad I did and I'm sure she's glad too. She's probably making over $400 a month now! That is so great!

Now while I'm not making $400 a month, it's only because as I said I haven't been that active with cashcrate. If I sat down and took more surveys, got more people to sign up, I think I would make close to $400 a month. So it's definitely not an impossible task to do.

Right now I'm at $9.84 with cashcrate. I just filled out a $1.00 survey which will put me at $10.84. Now the only new downside that I see is that instead of being able to cash out at $10, you now have to wait until you make $20. Well, that's not too bad I guess.

Okay, so if you're not familiar with Cashcrate, here's how it works. cashcrate allows you to join their program for free and sign up for offers of your choice, all while getting paid. Many of these offers are 100% free. There is no credit card needed, nothing. All that is needed is a few minutes of your time. With that few minutes you can make anywhere from $1.00 to $45.00. Many of the $1.00 offers are just surveys that require a few minutes of your time. $1.00 may not seem like much, but believe me, they add up. For example, if you were able to fill out $1.00 surveys for 1 hour, you just made $12.00/hr.

Even if you just wanted to work a couple of hours a week at filling out offers with cashcrate you could manage $60.00 per week. Not bad at all! Don't worry. There are plenty of 100% free offers. As a matter of fact there are over ten pages worth of offers at this very moment.

Also, you can make money just by having people sign up under you. This is a feature that I love because I tend to get busy and don't always have the time to fill out offers every single day. So, I let my referrals do it for me. Which I need to thank! So, Thank You!!! Every offer you fill out, helps me towards my financial goals. You guys are the greatest!

If you've already signed up for cashcrate or you're interested in learning more about the program, please feel free to drop me a line. I would love to hear what you have to say good or bad, and I would be happy to try to answer any questions you may have!

An Update on my Goals

I managed to make an extra payment towards one of the credit cards I am paying off. Because of the extra payment, That will bring the credit card to exactly $800. I am hoping to be able to pay more towards that credit card, next month.

Also, I was able to put $25 back to a new savings account for emergency funds. I might also have enough to buy a lawn mower for the yard, this Friday.

We finished all of the school supply shopping today for my husband's children. So that takes care of all of the kids. It's been a great day!

Here are the latest break downs of what I am making online to help pay the bills and make my goals. As always, thank you to those who have been visiting ads from google adsense. Every little bit makes me one step closer to paying off the debt and buying a car.

An Update on My Kids

Generally I don't work over the weekend, but I had some free time and I knew I needed the extra money for my kids, so I am giving an update for Just 19th. It isn't much, but every little bit helps. I am hoping things will really pick up this week since I am not out of the clear. We'll see I guess.

Thursday we are headed back to Oklahoma to take my oldest son home. I am really not looking forward to him leaving. The bad news is, I was told my other two children would be able to come down to visit, but due to my middle aged son being grounded for calling an adult a name, he and his younger brother are not allowed to come and visit me before school starts. Sigh.

Another Cashcrate Update

Not too long ago, I did an update on Cashcrate. While Cashcrate has not resolved their category problem..... See my other post for details. They have added some new surveys that pay more than $1.00 each!

So, I just made $5.00 in less than an hour from them. Very cool. I am still not happy that certain surveys from Cashcrate are a waste of time, however.... Cashcrate is still worth joining, since you can just avoid those surveys that are a waste.

The surveys to avoid are the ones that ask for your email address on the page only, and offer a free gift for completing their offers that you have to pay for. Not worth it.

The surveys from Cashcrate that are worth your time are the ones that simply ask you to answer questions and enter you into drawings.

If you're new to Cashcrate and want to earn a little extra money, remember to give them a junk email address when signing up.

A Cashcrate Update

I'll be honest. I'm not very impressed with Cashcrate right now. In the past I've praised them because it was an easy way of making a little extra money without having to purchase anything. This morning however, I dropped by the website to view my earnings. To my surprise, my pending amount is now set at zero and the amount I earned is only a $1.00 more. Meaning, all of the surveys I completed that added up to $8.00 were dissed and dismissed.

Those surveys were categorized as 100% free. Meaning you did not need to purchase anything to earn money. What I noticed when I filled out those surveys however, was that..... they were the type of surveys that ask you to sign up for other offers that require you to spend money. Sure you can click on the free offers that they do have (which of course I did), but in the end their goal is to get you to click on an offer that requires you to spend money.

Now what irritates me is that Cashcrate has these type of surveys listed as 100% free, which of course as it turns out.... They're not. Maybe to Cashcrate's eyes they are, since you don't have to spend money to fill out those surveys, but.... What it all boils down to is, you don't get paid for your time through Cashcrate after your visit...unless you sign up for an offer that requires you to spend money.

For now, I will continue to be a member of Cashcrate, but until they correct the 100% free category, I will not be filling out surveys as often as I used. It's just not worth my time.

A Cashcrate Update

For those who do not already know, I am a big fan of cashcrate.com. Although lately my earnings have been next to nothing, it's only because I haven't visited cashcrate in a few months due to a new job. Generally when I am able to visit cashcrate on at least a weekly basis, I can make around $8.00 an hour (I just did this morning)by simply filling out nothing more than their free surveys. Almost as much as I was making at my new job. Pretty insane for just sitting on your butt at home, huh??

If you're unfamiliar with the cashcrate program, cashcrate allows you to join their program for free and sign up for offers of your choice, all while getting paid. Many of these offers are 100% free. There is no credit card needed whatsoever. They don't ask you for money or to spend anything unless you're interested in their trial offers. All that is needed is a few minutes of your time.

With that few minutes you can make anywhere from $1.00 to $45.00. Many of the $1.00 offers are just surveys as I have mentioned above, that simply require a few minutes of your time. $1.00 may not seem like much, but believe me, they add up.

Even if you just wanted to work a couple of hours a week at filling out offers with cashcrate you could manage $60.00 per week. Not bad at all! If you're worried about how long this will last, don't worry. There are plenty of 100% free offers. There are currently seven pages of 100% free offers at the moment and are continuing to update with new offers each and every day.

If you're looking to make a little more money, you can also have people sign up under you. Once you have others join cashcrate, you're automatically making money without having to do a thing. The great part about it is, anyone who joins under those who've signed up under you, you get paid for.

So where's the catch? There is none. That is what's so great about cashcrate. One thing however that I do recommend. Be sure to use a junk mail address instead of a personal one, when you sign up with cashcrate. That's it!

If you've already signed up for cashcrate or you're interested in learning more about the program, please feel free to drop me a line. I am always interested in hearing from my readers!

Cashcrate Update

Here's an update on my cashcrate earnings. Last month's earnings are still in process as you can see below.

While the above earnings might not look like much... that's because I haven't really had the time to concentrate on cashcrate's program.

If you still haven't joined, but you're interested, you can do so by visiting cashcrate's website.

If you want more information about cashcrate, you can view my Got a Junk Mail Address article. Cashcrate is absolutely free. The only thing you have to do is give them a few minutes a day of your time. And yes, I do mean a few minutes. I can sit down and fill out a survey in under 5 minutes and be paid $1.00 or more. So if you don't mind surveys you could make $12 an hour with cashcrate. How cool is that? If you're not a fan of surveys you could just refer people like I do and make money that way.

Anyway you go about it it's free money. I used my last earnings to help pay one of our bills. I'm thinking of using my next cashcrate check towards our kids college savings. 5 more years and our oldest will be in college!! Sigh.

Nighttime Mowing and CashCrate Pay Day!

The neighbor is mowing her yard after dark again. I wonder how she can see what she is mowing? I mowed after dark once and it was a really big pain to do! Heck I can't even mow well in the daytime. I found that out after I mowed our yard recently. The next day I was chatting out front with a friend and realized that there were a few areas I'd missed on our lawn. It must have been when I was trying to avoid the bees in the tree.

I got a surprise in the mail today. Cashcrate.com sent me my first check for just simply filling out 2 minute surveys for free. The amount was for $23.39. It's not much to most people, but that $23 is paying for the kids school lunches for the next few weeks. I have continued to fill out surveys for cashcrate.com and plan to increase my earnings from them for the month of September. I'll keep you posted with how it goes. If you're not familiar with what cashcrate.com is, you can check out my post titled, "Got a Junk Mail Address?"

Cashcrate Update and Free Money!

Thought I would update everyone on cashcrate. I am really excited because any day now I should be receiving my very first check from them. When I do, I will let you all know. Right now, after less than 30 minutes of filling out offers from cashcrate, I have made a total of $9.40 for this month. Not bad so far!

If you're unfamiliar with the cashcrate program, cashcrate allows you to join their program for free and sign up for offers of your choice, all while getting paid. Many of these offers are 100% free. There is no credit card needed, nothing. All that is needed is a few minutes of your time. With that few minutes you can make anywhere from $1.00 to $45.00. Cashcrate Update

I wanted to give readers an update on crashcrate.com. So far to date I have made $21.00 and that's with only 3 hours of work total. Not bad I don't think. Plus I spent nothing at all! If you haven't heard of crashcrate.com and what it's all about, then check out my post titled, "Got a Junk Mail Address". There you will find more about Crashcrate.

Got a Junk Email Address?

If you have a junk email address and you're interested in making some extra cash, I have actually found one program that is worth the time. Generally I don't fall for those, "Complete these offers and make some money" sites. However, I found out Cashcrate is entirely different. At first I thought they were too good to be true. I've been there and done that, so yeah I am a little skeptical when it comes to the "get paid to complete offers" sites. Most sites want you to purchase something in order to get anything. Cashcrate is different, however.

How Cashcrate works is, you sign up with them for free. From there you can choose to complete offers that are 100% Free. There is no need to buy or try out anything! How cool is that?

Now maybe you are thinking they won't have that many offers to choose from? Well, wrong. So far I've filled out for about 10 offers ( an hour total of my time) and I've already made $13.40. Heck that's pretty much $13.40 an hour, just for completing offers.

To give you an idea of what they are like, you can go to Cashcrate, find a site like Poetry.com, click on the Cashcrate's link with them, post a poem for free and make $1.15. Now, $1.15 might not sound like much, but believe me it all adds up. Like I said, I've made $13.40 in about an hour's time.

If $1.15 still doesn't sound like much to you, there are a few free offers that are looking to offer loans. When you apply for a loan you can make $45.00. So, if you happen to be looking for a loan, it might actually be worth checking out.

If not, I recommend sticking with the no obligation offers that simply ask you to fill out short surveys (3-5 minutes of your time) or register with their site, like mypoints.

I actually joined through another Cashcrate user who's looking to pay off debt as well. She has mentioned that you can make $200 a month just by filling out for the free offers only. Not bad at all.

You can also make money for free by getting referrals. When readers sign up you can make $3.00 per a referral.

Also for every offer you fill out, you earn a point. You can save those points and cash them in for great stuff like gift cards from Wal-mart, Amazon and more. Save up enough points and you can get the Xbox 360! Free money and free gift cards. I love this site!

Now I'll be honest, the only downfall is, if you don't have a junk email address, you'll be swarmed with junk mail once you complete offers with Cashcrate. To eliminate this problem however, all you need to do is sign up for a yahoo or hotmail address that you don't check all that often, and you don't mind junk mail going to. This will save you the trouble of wading through tons of junk mail in your personal email account that you use on a daily basis.

So far, I'm enjoying the benefits of signing up with Cashcrate. I plan to continue posting my progress with them. I hope you decide to enjoy Cashcrate as well and if you do, please feel free to let me know how you feel about them.
