Outer Banks Bringing Good Things to Real People

She stood in front of the beautiful beach home and smiled. She had Outer Banks rental homes to thank for the gorgeous summer home and her boss to thank for the vacation time.

Now all she needed was a delicious meal to settle her stomach's hunger protests and she would be all set to check out the Outer Banks area and it's absolutely stunning scenery and start her new life.

But first, maybe a dip in the private pool she'd heard so much about from the brochures would be nice! And as she rounded the corner, she stopped dead in her tracks and stared. She must have been dreaming. Surely she was. She blinked and focused her attention on what had made her stop and stare.

Staring back at her was actor Keanu Reeves who was standing near the pool, soaking wet from an obvious recent swim.

"Umm hello. I think maybe I have the wrong beach rental."

But actor shook his head then smiled as he said, "Outer Banks, thought you might enjoy a celebrity blind date as part of your package."

"What? Wow, ohh umm yes! Definitely yes!"

And then he walking towards her as he said, "This is 109.5 the buzz and you're listening to the K Ryan Show."

"What?" She stared in confusion at her dream date until she realized it was just that a dream! She sat up in her bed and turned her attention to her favorite radio station that had just let her know it was time to get up for work. But wow what a dream. Then she smiled. If only Outer Banks did include such a package! How nice that would be!

Riding a Motorcyle

When my dad was a teenager he got from place to place on a motorcycle. Then, one day he was injured severely. He managed to survive, but the scars will never go away.

My dad lived in a small town when his accident happened. But, motorcycles are everywhere. If you have ever driven in a big city, you know how crazy drivers can get. Now imagine trying to drive a motorcycle in a big city! It can get insane!

So, motorcycle accident lawyers Los Angeles know this. They know how easy it is to become a victim. I often wonder if celebrities like Keanu Reeves ever worry about getting hit by crazy drivers. I'm sure he does, I just hope he never needs to hire a lawyer. But if he does, it's nice to know that they're around. I just wish my dad would have had the same opportunity as Keanu Reeves does today.

Insane Wine Drinking with Keanu Reeves

I don't really care for wine, but sometimes actor Keanu Reeves just makes me crave the stuff. It's all thanks to the movie he did years ago called, "A Walk in The Clouds." Ahh the lovely thought of crushing grapes to make wine with a beautiful man in a beautiful vineyard. What more you could want?

In reality I've tasted wine. I don't remember what brand. It was probably one of the California wines thanks to my mother-in-law. The last I had was a blush wine at my wedding. While I can't complain because I actually found the taste rather fruity, I didn't like the red wine that was also served. I found it to be very tart and bitter. Hmmm I like cranberry juice, but not red wine. I really must be insane.lol

New Keanu Reeves Film!

Okay as not sooo great as this film sounds at the moment, I am still excited to see actor, Keanu Reeves in another new film. Check out the trailer for, "The Day the Earth Stood Still." Let me know what you think. Doesn't it look a tad bit familiar as far as another character he did? It will be interesting to see where this film leads and how well it does at the box office. Looks like we'll have several months to wait still though.

Reacquainted with Dracula

After visiting another blog who is also a fan of the actor Gary Oldman, I found myself reacquainted with his character from the movie, "Bram Stoker's Dracula." It was this role that made me take notice of him. I realized how much I really enjoyed his role as Dracula and his love for his bride who is played by actress, Winona Ryder. Of course it is no secret that I am a fan of actor Keanu Reeves who also appears in the movie. However it is Gary Oldman who I believe makes this movie truly memorable. Without him I truly believe there would be no Dracula.

By the way, it is interesting to note that I never realized he has a role in the Harry Potter Movies. It's probably because I never had any desire to watch the Harry Potter movies. And I still probably won't.lol Don't get me wrong, Gary Oldman is a fantastic actor, but I just cannot get into the Harry Potter movies. Not for me.

I did notice that he is planning to be in a movie called, "The Dark Knight" which is in production and is scheduled to be released in 2008. It's another spin-off of the Batman movies, so I will probably check it out since I am also a fan of Batman. Gary Oldman will join forces with Batman as LT. James Gordon in the movie. Sounds good to me!!!

Now for those who are a fan of Gary Oldman and Dracula, and who still believe in love.....

Note: An interesting tidbit is, Christian Bale will again play Batman.

I thought his role as Batman in "Batman Begins" was not bad. Still the best Batman I believe is and always will be, Michael Keaton. HA HA. I'm not sure about Heath Ledger playing The Joker in "The Dark Knight", however. I just can't imagine him in such a role. Now Jack Nicholson is a totally different story however!

So I guess we'll see how it goes with Heath Ledger. Who knows! I may very well change my mind. I have liked a few of his movies. My favorite is, "10 Things I Hate About You." I didn't like him in "The Four Feathers." I found it to be one of those long and dragged out movies.

"A Knights Tale" wasn't too bad. Not one of my favorites either. Actually I guess the only movie I really liked Heath Ledger in is, "10 Things I Hate About You." Hmmm.

Keanu Reeves the Musician

Since I received a few comments about wondering when actor Keanu Reeves became a musician, I thought I would do a post about it. Aside from acting, Keanu is actually the bass guitarist for the band, "Becky's Band." He's actually been playing in bands for years. Prior to "Becky's Band", he was the bass guitarist in a band called "Dogstar." I have their album, "Our Little Visionary."

I haven't heard anything about "Becky's Band" lately, so I'm not sure he's still with that band. He is however doing a reunion with "Dogstar."

Hope that clears things up a bit.

The proof is in the pudding, or should I say, video. Enjoy!!!

More Keanu and Dogstar.... "32 Stories Video."
