Life in the Medical Field

I've really been racking my brain trying to decide what to write about when it comes to a medical assistance program. While I did spend some time as a CNA, my disgust with nursing homes and how their residences are treated, has really left me going in the opposite direction when it comes to the medical field.

However, I do understand that there are some of us out there still interested in being in the medical field. If that's you, I wish you the best of luck and may you brighten all of your patients' days.

Losing Weight When It Isn't Just That Simple

For most people losing weight may seem simple enough, but for others it's just not that easy. When you're extremely overweight and food is always on your mind, trying to losing weight can be a daily struggle. Remember my post a while back about the guy who lost a lot of weight? For many people who are that extreme with their weight, the only option may be Laparoscopic Adjustable Gastric Banding which can allow that person to reduce their weight by reducing their stomach size. Journey Lite specializes in this type of procedure by using a lap band that is fastened around the upper part of the stomach which then creates a small stomach pouch that allows that person to eat less and lose weight.

If you have tried everything to lose weight and it's just not working, then you may want to drop by Journey Lite's website and check out their LAP BAND System procedure to see if it's right for you.

A Utah Child in Need

If you have ever known the fear of losing a child then you'll know this mom's fear very well. Her son Parker is by far a miracle. He is going through so many medical problems at the moment that it is heartbreaking to say the least. yet he continues to play, to live, to be a child. In order to raise the money that is needed for Parker, his parents are holding a benefit concert. If you're from the Utah area, please attend. The cost is only $5.00 per person. If you're not from the Utah area, you could easily send a donation from Parker's Website. If you'd like, you could even help another family who might enjoy going to the concert, but cannot afford to, by paying for their tickets. If you're still not sure... if it was your child, what would you do?

For more Information you can visit Parker's website at:
