The door hardware was a bit tricky, but at least she'd finally found him and it had been a little easier than she thought. Now all she needed to do was convince him to help her without getting caught.
She could see him. His back was turned toward her in the corner of the room. At first she thought he was asleep, but when she began to slowly approach him she suddenly realize that might have been a mistake. His movements were fast and in one quick motion he had her pinned again the wall and the blade of the dagger's tip pressed against her throat.

Someday 2
She placed a hand on the dagger at her side and held her breath. If the guard came any closer it would be his life. She could take no chances. Damn she needed to get the hell away from this life. maybe a nice Branson vacation to get away from it all.
she watched the guard walk pass her and let out the breath. Damn that was close. Now to find where they were holding him. If she had looked at the map correctly there should only 4 holding cells on each. But if one of the others were to alert the guards she wouldn't be able to hold them all off. So she had to go about it very carefully.

Someday
Someday she was going to get away from her life and move on. Maybe take one of those Orlando vacations she'd seen posted in the travel agency downtown. Maybe. But for now she needed to just get passed the guards and find him. He had to be here somewhere.
But where was the biggest challenge. The guards were nothing, but unless she knew his exact location, she wasn't going to get anywhere and she needed his help whether he wanted to do it or not. If she had to she'd find a way to convince him to help her. It would be hard with the dagger she always carried by her side. Now it was just a matter of finding him and then it was time for a vacation.
