Weep For the Children

He checked for any identifiable markings on the stainless steel drawer slides. It was very odd to find that the drawers itself looked brand spanking new in an old kitchen. Odd and out of place.

"I fucking knew it!" He muttered the words only because he was the only one at the scene. There was a good amount of blood that someone missed cleaning up on the back half of the slide. Someone had been murdered in this kitchen and now his next step was to find out why.

The Piano Part 2

They say everyone who looks into their family's past will find a secret sooner or later. But there are some who will never discover their family's hidden past because it was never really a secret to begin with.

When I inherited the portable piano from my great-aunt Jessie, I already knew it was special. From the moment she discovered my love for music, she told me about the piano's magic.

"You can play any note and it will create a song for you." I eagerly waited for her to show me how the piano worked, so that I could try it out for myself, but she would always tell me`it's not your time.

15 years later it was finally my time. The piano had arrived in the mail this morning, only a day after my great-aunt's passing. No longer able to hold back any longer,I pressed a key and waited for the piano to create a song for me, but the only key note it gave me was the one I had already played.

The Stranger

She was looking at the information for nc photographers when the doorbell rang. She had a month to get everything ready before the big day, and hoped there was a photographer available at the last minute. The doorbell rang again and Katy made her way to the front door and opened it.

The stranger stood before her in the rain and the moment he saw her, a smile slowly made its way on his face. He tipped his rain soaked cowboy hat at her as he muttered the words "ma'am".

Katy took a step back. The smell of whiskey was so strong one would have thought he had bathed in the stuff.

Hell Yeah

They had been printing posters for the show for nearly a week now, working non-stop. The order had came in anonymously, asking for 5000 posters and in return offering a cool one million dollars. Sean had flipped at the offer. It was just the start he needed to get his business rockin'. A cool one million!

Now he examined his work. It had taken working through several nights, but it was well worth it. The posters were perfect. Still, he wondered on more than occasion who would offer such a high price without a name.

His employees had wondered the very same. "It's a lot of money, just to not come forth about." Sean had nodded in agreement, but what could he do. If he tried to track down the buyer, they might change their mind and he could lose it all. He wasn't about to have that happen. He would just take the offer as it was. A cool one million! Hell yeah!

October Tears

She refused to shed the single tear that threatened to fall. Her heart had been shattered one too many times. Finally, it was just too much. That tiny fracture somewhere deep inside, had spidered into a dangerous web leaving unmendable delicate shards.

She had always thought she was a good person, kind to others, stayed clear from the bad things in life, and loved from the very depth of her being, heart and soul. But after fighting for so long, she believed she was no longer worthy of anything.

Somewhere along the way, the decision was made long ago, one that she'd forgotten, tried to ignore, tried to fight - that a life filled with true and everlasting love, the kind that only storybook fairytales are made of, was not meant for her.

She would never marry, never become a bride, never feel that unstoppable love, the kind to reach beyond the stars, the same love she'd given over and over. But for her, it was just never meant to be.

A State of Affair

She wondered why her husband had written the words, carpet cleaners chapel hill nc in his appointment book when they lived in Chicago. They had no family there and he had no friends with the exception of his business partner, Joe. To her it made no sense, but then anything Ron did lately, made very little sense.

She hadn't even planned on opening his appointment book, but she wanted to see if he'd be home this weekend. She only hoped he wouldn't discover she'd checked the book because there'd be he'll to pay if he did.

But a carpet cleaner in another state? Why on earth would he need that? Did he have a house there? Was he planning to leave her? She certainly hoped so! To be free would be the greatest thing ever!

The Plan

The couple met at the coffee shop on the corner of 9th by the old aluminum picnic table that was rich with the little town's history. But the history of the table would be written about another day, for today that couple meeting, were meeting for one reason and one reason only. They were meeting in secret.

Yet it wasn't such a secret that rumored of forbidden love. Their secret was no such thing of the sort. They were there for a much more powerful reason. A higher plan that only they knew of.

Tonight they would put that plan into action, starting with the little town, until nothing was left, nothing existed.

Sifilia B By the Insane Poet and Insane Writer

My head was already throbbing as I entered the doors of Bellagio in Las Vegas. I had already contracted the first symptoms of Sifilia B; a man-made bacterial virus capable of mass extinction, and it was spreading throughout my body like wildfire.

The pain only became worse as I stumbled through the crowds of people, not knowing the catastrophe that was coursing within my veins.

Then it hit me, a spin sharper than any blade, pierced inside my head, causing me to fall on the hard cold floor of the hotel room.

I couldn't see straight, but at that moment I could barely see anyways. I blacked out without a thought of the disaster that awaited my awakening.

I don't know exactly how long I had been out, but now there were people all around me. Not good. I wanted, I needed to get away from them before it was too late. They had no idea how big this virus was. This hotel and it's people were in grave danger.

At first, I was angry with myself for risking their lives. I didn't even know why I was there to begin with. Then I remembered.

I had been tracking the woman. She'd checked into the hotel a few nights ago I'd been told and she was the cure. Only one problem. Somebody had lied. The woman had checked into the room alright, but it wasn't her.

Now I had to start all over and these people were about to die. It was as simple as that, the poor fools. People were starting to shout.

"What the hell is that?" Someone asked.

"Get back!" Another one shouted. And so it had started.

I tried to get up, to get away from them, but the room wouldn't stop spinning and it felt as if some force was holding me down. Maybe if I warned them.

Get away from me. You're going to die. Get away! My mind was shouting the words, but my mouth refused to form them.

A woman kneeled  down beside me, their face inches away from mine. Are you crazy? Get away from me! Again, my mouth refused to form the words. But she refused to budge. Instead she leaned even closer and before I knew what was happening she kissed me.

I tried to move, but my body refused to allow it. Question after question raced through my mind. Who was she? Why would she do such a thing? Hadn't she heard the shouts from the guests of the hotel to get away from me.

My mind continued to try and comprehend what I could not understand. And then suddenly, the throbbing stopped.

Better Off

Maybe she was better off just keeping her mouth shut. It just seemed like any time she did anything, she was always being put down or called a liar. "Whatever Lilly. Do what you want. Tell that immigration attorney everything. Lie to him. You always lie anyway."

She hadn't lied. It was the truth. But maybe silence was best. Maybe if she said nothing, things would be better for the both of them. If she didn't break the silence, her neighbor would still be okay, wouldn't she?

She could go on with her life, back to her own country and forget what happened that night. At least her neighbor would be safe and not here with him where Lilly would always be.

Avery 5

Someone had said he was here for wrongful termination San Diego or at least it's what he thought he heard. The only thing he really knew at the moment was that he was in a room where cement covered every inch of space possible and only darkness seemed to exist.

The place literally gave Chris Avery the chills as he shivered uncontrollably. He couldn't remember the events leading up to now and he was really starting to regret his good deed. How the hell could he have gotten into this situation was beyond him, but he was fairly certain his gift to the school was behind it.

"Well, there is an exceptional SKB Marching Band at musician's friend that I want!" Another boy beamed. The music room was full of anticipation and Miss Geirstin was just as excited as her students were. Today was the big day. Today they would get the new instruments they needed so desperately for the fall concert.

2 more hours and they would be heading by bus to choose their new musical instruments for the school. Each student would be allowed to pick their own and take it with them that very same day. This was such a treat. She only hoped that someday she would be able to thank the man responsible for this wonderful gift.

She could only imagine what he looked like. What kind of life he led. Maybe a musician.himself who grew up loving music. Or maybe he never new music growing up, but had always wanted to.

"There's a gold tone banjo at musicians friend that I really want." The boy's excitement had everyone in the music room all riled up. It was nearly two weeks before the big fall concert and all of the children would soon be getting new musical instruments thanks to the kindness of a man they only knew as Avery.

His generosity had come just in time and they couldn't wait to show off their talent with the new instruments.

Yet a fear still remained that the thief that had stolen their musical equipment several times before, would strike again.

The Los Angeles police department had lost the thief's trail, but Avery had promised that the instruments would not be stolen this time.

How the children wondered. How was it possible?

August 25, 2013

Avery

As she climbed into bed for the night, she thought about today's gift from the stranger and all of the hohner kids instruments that would be provided to the school's students.

It was a gift indeed, since the school had become a target of theft over the last few months. Even LA's finest were stunned at how many times the school had been broken in to. At last count it was 32, and each and every time the thieves stole the music department's instruments.

But then today, the kindness of a stranger had left the students with new instruments, ones that if stolen, would trace back to the thieves according to the stranger's note. How sweet. How sweet indeed and all she knew of the stranger was the name, Avery.

The Sale by the Insane Poet

It's almost eleven 'o' clock and we still haven't found the zoom a2 effects pedal I've been wanting for months now, but mother keeps assuring me we will.

We've been to almost every, what mom calls "rummage sale", in town and only one last one in the newspaper draws her attention.

After about fifteen minutes of driving and desperate hoping, we pull up to a big white house and an open garage where the sale was taking place.

Mother and I get out of the car and walk up to the sale. "This is kind of fun, isn't it?" She says.

"More like embarrassing." I grunt. I walk up to a man; about fifty, sitting in a white lawn chair next to the garage and ask in a soft voice, "Do you happen to have any acoustic effects pedals?"

He laughs and in a sarcastic tone says, "You're going to have to speak up son. I'm an old man you know."

I speak loudly and stern this time. "Any effects pedals for a guitar?"

He chuckles then gets up and walks to the back of the garage. He comes back with the pedal I had been wanting. It was perfect! Then I stared at the price tag, my hopes crumbling, my dreams diminishing right before my eyes. I couldn't afford it and I knew my mother certainly couldn't. "I don't have enough money for it, I'm sorry."

I watched the old man think for a moment then hand the pedal to me. "Put it to good use." He smiles.

A Darker Side by the Insane Poet

It's not like my grandfather to keep things like this from me. He's been the closest father-figure I've had since dad left. I just can't believe he would hide this.

I stood there studying the shelves of ancient scrolls and books. I walked across the room to the center where a granite stand was positioned. A glass box rested on the stand, the lock on it, open.

Inside the box were two masonic rings that lay snug in their own resting place. Picking up one of the rings to examine it up close, I realized it was a trigger that opened a hidden door to a secret room just a few feet in front of me.

The room seemed to be engulfed in a mist of darkness, almost as if it contained a darker side, a darker place where secrets were hidden. A place where souls were lost to those closest to them. I took a deep breath and approached the door.

Bound - by the Insane Poet

Photos of jewelry flooded the computer screen, but only one photo really caught Jenna's attention; a white gold chain necklace with a black diamond pendant.
It pulled her in such a way as a hypnotist would with his or her next victim, yet there was also a powerful, almost mystic force behind it that drew her to a link below the photo that read, click for more information.
But before she was able to click on the link, a loud-pitched screech echoed through her living room, followed by pounding at her front door that pulled her from the heightened trance and compelled her to answer it.
Yet as soon as she had pulled the door open, a bright flash of light filled the living room and images of the black diamond pendant necklace flashed before her. It pulled her out into the darkness, into the street where oncoming traffic continued down the block, oblivious to her movement.
Movement that reached the center of the road and suddenly stopped, the trance broken just in time to see the bright headlights heading straight for her.

A Writer's Dreams

Sometimes stories come from the heart while others come from the dreams we dream for whatever the reason may be. Some dreams can be good, others bad. Some vaguely remembered, others in rich vivid details.

For me they are bad dreams in rich vivid details. Nightmares as many would call them, yet just ordinary dreams to me. They were dreams that began in high school, somewhat in the mist of when I moved back to Independence, Kansas on Sycamore Street for the second time in my life.

One reoccurring dream always leads me back to my old high school in my hometown of Coffeyville, Kansas, while another involves an old house in that same hometown where an unknown evil awaits in the attic for me to someday open.

Yet until then, I'll dream the dreams I do and create them into the stories I sometimes tell and share with the world. But, all in good time my friends, all in good time.

New Story Ideas

I've been going through some writing notes in my desk drawer that I'd been meaning to get into the computer. I thought I would share a bit of one of the story ideas I've been working on. What do you think so far?

She held the coffee cup in her hands and watched the lightning strike down out of the sky, as if it were angry at someone or something. It was nights like these that she cherished. Very few could understand and many accused her of being a witch. She would never understand why some people think the way they do. Why fear a thunderstorm and make those who enjoyed them into something just as feared. To her, storms brought a sense of calming. It was better than a day at the spa. Something she’d never really indulged in, but knew was true.

Another streak of lightning struck down from the sky and for a moment the entire night sky lit up. How could someone not enjoy such a beautiful sight. The shrill of the telephone interrupted the moment and she set the coffee cup down and reached for the receiver.

“Hello?” From the other end was silence and then a faint static was her only response.

“Hello?” Silence again and the same static. It was almost as if the static was saying hello back to her.

“Great.” She sighed and said the receiver back down into the cradle of the telephone. The phone lines were down. She hoped the call was an important and could wait until the storm cleared. She started to reach for her coffee cup when the telephone rang again. Picking up the receiver she muttered a quick hello only to get the same silence and static from before.

“Damn it!” She slammed the receiver into the cradle and yanked the phone cord from the telephone’s jack. She was not about to be annoyed by the shrill of the telephone all night long. She picked up her coffee cup and press the realm of the cup to her lips. The shrill of the telephone echoed in her ears. She froze. Ring. Ring. Ring. She slowly set down the coffee cup and hesitantly reached for the receiver. Ring. Ring. Ring. She stared at the telephone cord. It was still unplugged.

With a shaky hand, she picked up the receiver. “Hell-o?” The same silence and then faint static echoed through the line.

“What do you want?” As if it were responding, the static echoed. She slammed the receiver into the cradle and threw the phone across the room.

He stepped off the bus and onto the curb, the sun beating down on him. It had been four long years since he’d been home. He tossed his black leather jacket over his shoulder and ran hand for his greased hair. For a second he wondered why he did ever came back. They’d sent him away, they didn’t want him here. He eyed the drugstore across the road and smiled. Not much had changed it seemed. He crossed the road, steps inside the drugstore and nodded at old Mr. Hampton, the owner.

“Can I borrow the telephone?” The old man seemed off in a trance, so he figured he’d help himself. “Just going to borrow the telephone, ok?”

He picked up the receiver and dialed the number he knew by heart. The line rang once and the operator picked up. “ I’d like to make a call to Esther Churchem.” He said.

“Hello?” The operator responded.

“Yeah. I want to call Esther Churchem.” He tried again.

“Hello?”

“I said-” the operator hung up. He stared at the telephone stunned, but then rang the operator again.

“Hello?”

“Yeah, you hung up on me.” He said.

“Hello?”

“Uhh.” The phone clicked and silence. He stared in anger and rang the phone again. He was going to give her a piece of his mind this time.

“Hello?” The operator responded.

“Listen, I don’t like games.” He said.

“What do you want?” She asked.

“I want to-” he stopped. The familiar click and then silence. He slammed the telephone into the receiver and stormed out of the store was out looking back. As he ever saw that operator he was going to give her a piece of his mind. It was a 2-mile walk to grandmother Esther's house.

Going Home

She stared at the television screen in the lobby, trying to concentrate on the commercial for what the company considered the best acne treatment
on the market today.

Her best friend had just boarded his flight, promising to get plenty of photos of the show and apologizing for leaving her to wait for a taxi. Some friend he turned out to be. "I packed my keys in my luggage. I'm so very sorry hun." He'd said.

Seriously, could this day get any worse? She glanced out the front lobby window just as the yellow taxi pulled up and the driver stepped out.

He was tall, muscular with dark skin and long curly brown hair. She smiled as she stood up and made her way out the lobby's double doors. Maybe this day wouldn't be so bad after all.

The Identity Rough Draft

This is just a run through of a novel I was considering writing in the future. Keep in mind, it's a rough draft.

Possibility for the novel The ID.

Beginning three grade school kids. Two are watching from the monkey bars as another is being hauled away in a police car. The two watching are a boy and a girl and the boy says under a mumbled breath that he is glad that the other boy is going away. The girl knows the reason why the boy is going away and she feels badly for the boy. But then the other boy suddenly starts laughing as he sees the boy being handcuffed and admits that it was all a lie and the boy is innocent and if she tells anyone she'll be dead. The girl fears him, but then there is a sudden sadness as she watches the innocent boy's eyes turn to sadness. She looks down and when she looks up again he is gone. Fast forward to several years later. The girl is almost grown up. She's had a rough life and now lives with her aunt and uncle. The bad boy still wants to be in her life, but she wants nothing to do with him. His grandmother is good friends with her aunt and uncle and this gets him in good with them allowing him to persuade them into letting him take her out on a date. Before all of this however she is awakened by the sound of a motorcycle starting right outside of her bedroom window and she goes to investigate. There is no one there. Then the night of the date as she gets into bad boy's car she hears a motorcycle starting and she realizes that the motorcycle is following them, but she says nothing to bad boy about it. The bike follows them to the club and she begins to worry. As the night progresses she tells bad boy (Andy) that she wants to go home. And when she first enters the club she spots a guy with long who looks very familiar to her, but she can't place where she has seen him before. He turns toward her and then turns away. He says no and to relax, but she refuses. He thrusts a drink into her hand and she tries to push it away her mind worrying about the motorcycle. Someone thrusts a soda in front of her and she decides to drink that and head home without Andy. As she heads for the door, Andy stops her and tells her that if she'll give him a few minutes that he'll take her home, but she wants to leave now. She swallows the last of her drink and shoves the glass at him and tells him she's leaving now. He argues with her and grabs her by the wrist. She struggles with him and tells him to let her go. He refuses and pulls her away from the exit and through the crowd with a struggle. He is stopped by the tall guy with long dark hair who tells him to let her go. He argues with him, but since the guy towers over Andy, Andy changes his mind and decides to back down. Not without reason however. In his own thoughts he's gone to get help. The guy disappears into the crowd before she is able to get a good look at him. She sighs a relief however and turns to leave. She starts for the exit, but she becomes dizzy and blacks out before then. The first time she wakes up it is very dark and she hears moaning all around her. She tries to get up, but she is pinned and she realizes Andy is above her. She racks him and gets free. The nearest light leads to a back hallway where she finds all of the doors are locked but one. She hides in the darkness of the room as Andy looks for her. He stops at her door and fumbles with the doorknob which she has accidentally locked. When she hears the footsteps fade away she relaxes for a moment until she realizes she's not alone in the room. She panics and fumbles for a light switch. When she finds it she realizes it's the same guy who had rescued her earlier. He is leaning against the wall and as she starts to speak he slides to the floor and that's when she sees the stab wound. She rushes over to help him and as she does they hear footsteps running back down the hall and Andy's voice booming outside of the door knowing they are both in there. He curses at her and leaves once again. Turning back to him she tries to help him with his wound when he whispers no time and has her help him stand and they slip out of the club before Andy can come back with his buddies again. They don't get too far before he tries to pass out on her and she finds a motel close by. She also finds some money in his pockets and pays for the motel. Then she gets him inside and he passes out. She leaves to get some pain medication and other supplies for him. She comes back and tends to his wound as best as she can and then stays with him as he runs a fever and sleeps through the pain. When he wakes he questions where they are and she tells him what happened. He panics and tries to get up to leave, but he's too weak for now and she argues with him about trying to leave. He explains that her family must be worried about her being gone and she tells him differently. In his thoughts he had not realized her aunt and uncle were that bad. He had known about her parents dying, but he had thought her aunt and uncle would care for her as they should. She asks him about his own life curious as to why he looks so very familiar, but he changes the subject and tells her to get some sleep since she's been up taking care of her. She does so realizing she is very tired, but soon she awakened by nightmares. He comforts her, but tries to keep his distance as well to protect both of them. His thoughts, the very first moment he saw her in the hallways at school he was in love with her and when she cried as he was put into the police car he knew she was his angel. Then here he thinks about his past and what has happened since then and why he has come back. When he realizes how badly Andy has hurt her he becomes angry and tells her he won't let him hurt her. She smiles through the tears and caresses his face, but he suddenly pulls back. She is hurt by his reaction. She finally falls asleep but not before he hears the tears and it leaves him in his own world of pain. The next morning he awakens only to find she is heading for the bathroom. She is only in a t-shirt and he watches her walk and is in love all over again. Meanwhile she stands in front of the mirror wondering what is wrong with her. She wonders why he reacted the way he did and why her aunt and uncle treat her the way they do. She starts the shower and all of the nights events of the party come back to her and she slides down into the floor in tears. The next thing she knows he is there picking her up off of the shower floor as she shakes uncontrollably and breaks down again. He takes her to the bed and sits her down there. Then he gets a towel and wraps her in it and tells her he is sorry that he never meant to hurt her. She tries to tell him he didn't, but he knows better and he wipes the tears away and kisses her. It's as far as he goes before he realizes he cannot hurt her and backs away. He tells her he has to go. Then he kisses her again and he leaves. But she decides to follow him and when she does she realizes he is heading back to the club. Meanwhile his thoughts are lost to her and he doesn't realize she is following him. At first he's decided to just leave and try to forget her, but he can't and decides he's going to go back for her after he takes care of what he has to take care of. Before he goes into the club though she stops him angry, and wants to know why he is there. He grabs her, pulls her into the shadows and asks her if she's crazy? Then without hesitation he pulls her into a kiss until he realizes how much danger she could be in and hears sirens in the distance. He grabs her and starts to run, but they are surrounded by cops and arrested. Detective Johnson wants to know about Matt, but she refuses to tell him anything. Finally they must let her go home. But the detective is back and wants answers this time. He tells her Matt's last name and in the back of her mind she knows that name from somewhere but can't put her finger on it at the time where. Then he tells her her aunt and uncle are pressing charges for kidnapping. Despite what she knows she tries to tell them about Andy what has happened with him, but they refuse to listen to her. Then she overhears the other cop tell the detective they have Matt in custody. Back at the station Detective Johnson interigates Matt. He tries to get Matt riled up, but it doesn't work. Meanwhile back at the house her aunt and uncle argue with her about Matt and Andy. Her uncle ends up locking her in her room. She cries herself to sleep thinking about how she came to be with her aunt and uncle. Into the night the door opens and she awakens to it. When the shadow leans over her bed she starts to scream until a hand covers her mouth and she recognizes Matt's voice. She questions how he knew where she lived and how he got in, but he doesn't answer and instead he leans forward and kisses her. Then he pulls away and tells her to get dressed so that they can leave. Her uncle questions in another part of the room what all the noise is. Matt grabs Allie and they disappear thru the window just as her uncle heads for herroom. They run a ways and down the block where he has parked his bike out of sight and out of hearing. He tells her to get on his bike, but she suddenly freezes up remembering the stranger who has followed her on the bike. She backs away and starts to run, but he stops her. "You've been following me!" "Allie." "Who are you?" "Get on the bike." "Who are you?" She jerks away from him angry. He grabs for her again. "get on the bike!" She backs away even further and shakes her head. "Please." He says. There is a saddness in his eyes, a saddness she suddenly recognizes and a name, his name she suddenly remembers. It's as if time has suddenly stood still. She reaches out to him and traces his face. She remembers that day that he was taken away. He places his hand on hers and tears form in her eyes. Then she asks, "Why did you come back?" "Why do you think." He answers. He kisses her hand then leans forward and wipes her tears away. "Hey it's ok." He says. She nods not knowing why, but trusting in him completely. "Come on, let's get out of here." He says finally. He steps toward his bike and hands her his helmet. She puts it on and he climbs onto the bike and pulls her on behind him. "I have to go back to the club." He says. 'What?" She questions. "There's something I need to do." He says. They head for the club and thoughts run thru Allie's head wondering why Matt needs to go to the club. She also has unanswered questions of why he was wounded, etc. and wonders if going back to the club has something to do with that. She suddenly starts to worry about that, but they've made it to the club and he tells her to wait outside. She starts to argue when he gets off his bike, turns towards her, kisses her and tells her that he loves her leaving her speechless. Then he disappears into the club. She decides to follow. She loses him somewhere in the crowd, but she is stopped by Donald. He's drunk and angry and wants to know why Allie is back. When she tries to get away from him he hits her. She is stunned for a moment until she sees a blurred figure step in between. When she realizes it's Matt and Donald has left she breathes a sigh of relief. He jerks her away from there thru the crowd telling her he told her to stay outside. Then he stops when they are safely away and checks her where Donald hit her asking her if she's alright. She nods as he reminds her again that he told her to stay outside. She tries to explain that she was worried about. He tells her she doesn't need to worry and she argues with him that she does and when he argues again that she doesn't she replies that she does because she loves him. There is silence and she's afraid that she has said too much and her thoughts are that she never meant for those words to come out. He turns away and she questions his name, but he doesn't respond and instead she hears Donald stopping him. Matt grabs her hand and pulls her up behind him. When Matt asks what Donald wants and Donald tells him to get rid of Allie or the deal is off Allie suddenly begins to wonder what kind of trouble Matt is into. She feels Matt's hand gripping tighter into hers as he tells Donald "No deal." There is a long pause of silence and then Donald finally walks away. She suddenly feels Matt jerk her forward and realizes they are running. But he suddenly stops and she realizes they are surrounded by what she assumes are security from the club. There is a struggle and she finds herself being ripped apart from Matt. It has come to Donald's attention of just who Allie is thanks to Andy. He was also curious about Matt and him checked out. He learns Matt is not who he says he is, but there is no true identity for him either. They are brought back to Donald's private office in the club where Donald is waiting. They are held at gunpoint by Donald's security. Andy is there as well, but hiding in the shadows. When Matt asks why Donald has brought them there, Donald tells them why they are there and as soon as he mentions his cousin, Andy steps out of the shadows. Without hesitation he walks up to Allie and places a hand on Allies face. Allie struggles to get free and Matt struggles as well telling Andy if he gets his hands on him he'll kill him. Andy snears at Matt then faces Allie, holds her head still and kisses her hard on the lips. He looks again at Matt and Allie spits in Andy's face. His quick reaction is to slap Allie in the face and call her a bitch. Matt fights even harder and tells Andy he's dead. Andy laughs and pulls a blade from his pocket and presses against Allie's throat causing Allie to scream. Donald shouts "Enough." He then turns his attention to Matt and tells him he has no idea what to do with the two of them, however the deal still must go thru. So he says he will make a compromise. If the deal goes thru then Allie will be just fine, if not he'll let Andy do as he pleases with her. Matt agrees to do what Donlad asks. Secretly however Donald has no intention of letting Allie go or either of them for that matter. He knows they both know too much already. He motions for his security to take Allie out of the office and as soon as she is gone he tells Matt he'll send one of his men with him just to make sure the deal goes through. He tells Matt again what needs to be done and how long he has to do it in. Then he motions for the guards to escort Matt and out of his office and tells one of his security to go with him. As soon as Matt and the man are outside of the club, Matt wanders off in his mind to what he has to do to save Allie, but in the back of his mind he also knows that when this is all done, the man is done. The only reason he hasn't killed him yet is because the man has to check in every so often with Donald and if he doesn't he knows that Allie will not live. He also has a doubt in his mind that Donald will let Allie live anyway. The only reason he has kept her alive for this long is because Donald knows Matt won't take care of things otherwise. So Matt knows Allie is safe for now. Growing up Matt got associated with the local cops and other areas as well. Enough that he was part of the FBI until a drug deal went bad and his friend/partner/father figure was killed and Matt was blamed since he's a newbie. so he dissapeared and vowed to find Donald who had ordered his friend to be killed. Only Donald doesn't know Matt was working with the FBI. Matt wasn't suppose to go because he was a rookie in the first place and too new to go into a drug bust, but his friend had insisted and said he was ready. He went overheads and had matt go anyway instead of anyone who was more experienced than Matt was. But after his friend was killed Matt realized there was more going on than just a drug bust and his friend had wanted him to go for a reason. So the only way for Matt to find out what was going on was to get involved with Donald. He had antispated finding out what was going on the night Allie found him. He had known where she lived. When he came back to town he had followed her home and watched her for a while. Then when he realized Andy was seeing her he never left her sight and put Donald aside for a moment. Then when he realized Allie was going to DOnald's club he knew she was going to be in trouble, so he had tried to stop Andy and Andy had stabbed him and left him for dead to go and find Allie. That's when Allie found Matt instead and Andy realized she must have found Matt, been with him the whole time and informed DOnald about it. Donald could have anyone else do the deal he needed, but Matt said he knew the guy personally and could get a really good deal on the drug supply, so Donald had him checked out and truth ringed out thanks to a few friends he had known growing up. So everything was set into place until Allie came into the picture and he had to get her out. Now he was making a phone call and the deal would be going through with his friends help. And then when the deal went through and Donald's goon made his phone call, Matt would kill the man.
