My Aplogies, But

I really see no reason for something like term life insurance. Now I have a friend in the insurance business and maybe she'd tell me differently, but chances are I still wouldn't purchase that type of insurance. Heck, right now I don't even have just simple life insurance. I just can't afford it at the moment.

But, the good news is, I also don't have any real bills to leave my kids either. I paid them all off last year and it feels great being nearly debt-free. I say nearly because I do have one credit card I have a balance on that is used in emergencies.

Life

years ago when I was still young, healthy and had more energy that I could ever dream possible, I never really considered the fact that I might need to visit a site like www.wholesaleinsurance.net. I mean why would I need a life insurance policy, right?

Well, then I had kids and things changed. I mean I even decided that I needed not only life insurance, but I needed to fill out a will as well. And then I started working as a CNA in nursing homes and learned not everyone was elderly.

I remember this one lady who had the last stages of lung cancer. She was maybe at the most in her late 30's and I thought wow. Every day I would take my lunch break with her and spend it seeing how she was doing. There were days when things were extremely rough for her and she just couldn't breathe. She never complained about not getting enough oxygen and needing more because she knew there was nothing the nurses or doctors could really do.

She just wanted someone to be there for her so she wouldn't have to go through the pain alone. It was sad too because I don't ever remember a day where family or friends came by to visit her. I hope I never have to be in that situation and I'm glad I'll have something saved back as far as insurance so my family won't have to worry about out of pocket expenses.

The Disadvantage of Being Self-Employed

Unfortunately one of the disadvantages of being self-employed I have discovered, is that you're on your own when it comes to health and life insurance benefits. So lately I've been doing a lot of research on both.

The main reason is because I am still not able to get on my husband's insurance at this time. It seems that every time he calls, we're given a later month/date on when we can enroll me on his insurance. And without it, I am unable to be seen by a doctor unless I have big bucks.

So I've finally became fed up and I've been looking into things like term life insurance quotes and health quotes on my own. It's not easy and I've found than many insurance companies are very expensive! So until I can decide what is what and where I am going from here, I've changed my eating habits for the better and I'm still doing yoga!

What Insurance is Really Necessary?

This morning one of my co-workers was telling me about how expensive it is to keep all of the different insurance policies she has on her family. I know that having insurance for some things is necessary, but where is there a limit to what is really needed.

Take for instance, term life insurance. For some people this may very well be something to have on your side. For me however, it's not something I need or want at the moment. But, that's my own personal opinion. I am very sure many of my readers will probably disagree with me. Life can be short and life insurance is definitely a must for those who have bills they will leave behind, among other expenses.

Term life insurance was something a friend of mine's father didn't have. He was killed in a tragic car wreck a few weeks ago.My friend was lucky enough that some of the funeral expenses were covered by the VFW.

Have you thought about what you will do if you knew your life could very well end tomorrow? Are you prepared or will you leave your family the expenses and debts you have or may very well accumulate? If not, term life insurance may very well be something to consider.

When You Need It

At the rate my life is going, it wouldn't surprise me if I suddenly one day decided to invest in some sort of term life insurance. Thankfully right now it's not on my list of things to do.
