When we can afford to do so, I'd like to take some other vacations when time permits. I've noticed there are a lot more places that are closer to home that we can vacation to like, Thousand Hills in Branson Missouri.
It's already easy to see that my husband will love it, simply because they have log cabins and are a golfing resort. I'm not fond of either, but I'm familiar with Branson and do know they have some great places to visit and shop at.
Their prices aren't bad either. For a 1 bedroom/1 bath it's $139-189 a night, depending on the season. Their cabins aren't without extras either. They include: swimming pool, jacuzzi, cable, high speed internet, washer/dryer and more.
Need a cabin with more room? Thousand Hills offers larger cabins to accommodate family needs. Not a fan of cabins? Thousand Hills also offers condos for vacationers who prefer something with a little less woods to it.
Anyway we look at it, there's always something enjoyable for everyone in Branson, Missouri and Thousand Hills just allows us to enjoy it that much more.
Branson (or Tablerock Lake) was our annual vacation spot growing up. It has changed so much over the years. I would love to go back, but my husband is not a fan. I think my girls would enjoy it, especially my oldest. I'll just have to take a mini-vacation with her sometime soon.
