Fat Burners Have Nothing To Do With Nutrition

Tonight I was asked to talk about a product called, Stimerex ES. While I don't mind talking about products on my blog, I was disappointed to learn that this product is found under a website that is known for nutrition.

In my opinion not fat burning pill should be considered a nutrition. Many are made with chemicals that can do more harm for the body than good. They have nothing to do with nutrition.

However, I also know many people who believe in the good of diet pills. While I'm against them, everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

If you believe in products like Stimerex ES that may or may not help you lose weight, please do your research first! Your life may very well depend on it!

  1. I haven't tried any fat burner pill, but have tried pills that claim to burn more calories pre-workout.

So far I am been able to maintain my weight. I can't attribute it to the calories burning pills or me just exercising more lol.

    1. I think maybe it's the thought motivation that burns the calories. You think you're burning more, but you're doing it with the expercise as you said. :)

  2. What scares me, someone who has taken diet pills, is how so many people do not look at ingredients. When I looked at the link, it boasts the use of Ephedra in the product. Uh, that scares me! I have heard so many scary things about Ephedra. From http://www.ephedra.com I found this info:

"As ephedra is a stimulant and a thermogenic, it should NOT be used by people / in situations where these properties might be harmful. There are some common sense rules about using ephedra:

"Do not use ephedra if you have any medical problems as the use of a stimulant might overtax your system. Do not use ephedra if your activity / environment will prevent you from dissipating heat. Your body core temperature might exceed safe levels. And do not take more than the manufacturer's recommended amount.

"What this means is: If you have a heart condition, do not take ephedra. And if you plan to wear clothes to raise your body temperature, do not take ephedra. And do not think that playing baseball on a hot muggy day will counteract these two common sense conditions and make it okay to take ephedra."

    Be careful people!! :-)
