I'm Not a Big Gaming Fan, But

First off, This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of PlayStation MOVE. All opinions are 100% mine.

Now, let's get to the exciting part where I talk about something I actually have an interest in!

Okay, let's get one thing straight. I am not a huge fan of video games. I believe there is more to life than just sitting in front of the television, wasting your life away almost the entire day by playing video games. However, I'm certainly not against a video gaming system like the PlayStation®Move that lets you use gaming as a way to physically get fit! As a matter of fact, I would love to have one!

Am I for real? Yes, actually I am. A few days ago I was browsing the gaming section with my spouse because he's a big gaming fan, when he pointed out the PlaystationMove. I've always wanted a way to workout without spending big bucks and the hassle of driving to and from a place just to exercise and Playstation has done it! I love the idea of playing tennis or boxing while using exercise motions to get my body to moving. And I also think it's a great way for the kids to get to moving too, instead of just sitting and watching television or playing video games.

Unfortunatly, there wasn't much of really a selection of games for this system at our local store, so I went to Playstation's website instead and took a peak at what games they have to offer.

To be honest, there's only one fitness game that they have, but I'd certainly give it a try and that's Get Fit with Mel B, which may be a good way to strengthen my back. However, they do have several pages of sports, including Racquet Sports, which looks like a lot of fun.

So, what do you think? do you think it'd be worth the purchase?

When Bosses Get Even

You never know when, who or what is going to strike your PS3 or Playstation 3 files and I certainly was never expecting it to happen to me.

It suddenly dawned on me that something was amidst. What was working a few minutes ago was now down. Prior to this I'd had an argument with my boss after several painstaking days of finalizing a report for the company. Needless to say she was not impressed with my final product and without an explanation, she fired me.

However I was not satisfied because I know my work and I know it well. So I went to her and after questioning her reasons for firing me, my boss stormed out of her office leaving me wandering for answers. So I went back to my own office and tried to send her an email. To talk some sense into her, but before I was able to type my message, I realized my playstation 3 files had suddenly stopped working. All of them! So I decided to try another approach and needless to say I discovered the worst possible scenario to ever happen -my boss had given me a virus!

This brilliant woman who I thought was god's gift to the business universe had hacked my PS3 and given me a virus! And now she was on my most wanted list. So I wondered how could she do this to me. And then I found out why. It took me nearly 11 years, but I did my research, I dug deep and found her true identify. That day I had put her on my most wanted list. Ohh, she was most wanted indeed. She was a part of a secret government agency that hires people like me to create information which was put to use by assassins who work through computers and through gaming systems.

I'd gotten too close to discovering the truth 11 years ago, so as a result, she'd fired me. But here I am standing at her doorstep, about to ring her doorbell and tell her that I know the truth. Then I'll tell her who I really am.

Kicking Butt in Boxing

Right now it is football season with our local college and high school and while I may not be a huge fan of the game, I do like some sports. Boxing is one of my favorite sports as well as wrestling. Yes I know, to many people, wrestling is not a real sport. But Sting will always remain my wrestling champion. I also love watching ice skating when it comes around. Seeing all of the incredible moves on a sheet of something that I can't balance on in a normal pair of shoes, just fascinates me.

The only downfall to my love for some sports is, I don't have cable television. But that was a downfall. Times have changed and more and more people are watching their favorite sports videos online. Which is great! Especially since I'll catch myself viewing online sports videos when I have a chance to take a break from my writing.

One of my favorite sports clips to watch is female boxing. There's nothing like seeing a chic kick butt and knowing we're not as defenseless and innocent as some people think. It really makes me want to get out there and do some boxing or kickboxing! Someday. Someday!

Now while I'm not a fan of watching the sport live, I also love racing. Racing on an Xbox or Playstation game is awesome! When I don't have to work and there's nothing else to do, my husband and I will sit down and race each other on a video game. And when the kids are around, it just makes it that more fun! One of my favorites is super mario karts. I miss that game!

Well right now SportsVids.com is sponsoring a contest where I can win one of the following prizes for every person who visits my contest link.

1. The new XBox 360
2. Tickets to Michigan vs. Penn State, Saturday, October 18, 2008
3. $100 Gift Certificate from Dick's Sporting Goods

I'd love the XBOX 360 just because I know my husband would love it. Also the Sporting Good's certificate from Dick's isn't a bad deal either. Now I'm not sure what I'd do with the tickets to Michigan vs. Penn State since I would never make it to the game. Probably give them away! I wonder though, can I do that? If so and any of my readers want a chance at those tickets, let me know.

In the meantime, check out my contest link and then check out some SportsVids.
