Kicking Butt in Boxing

Right now it is football season with our local college and high school and while I may not be a huge fan of the game, I do like some sports. Boxing is one of my favorite sports as well as wrestling. Yes I know, to many people, wrestling is not a real sport. But Sting will always remain my wrestling champion. I also love watching ice skating when it comes around. Seeing all of the incredible moves on a sheet of something that I can't balance on in a normal pair of shoes, just fascinates me.

The only downfall to my love for some sports is, I don't have cable television. But that was a downfall. Times have changed and more and more people are watching their favorite sports videos online. Which is great! Especially since I'll catch myself viewing online sports videos when I have a chance to take a break from my writing.

One of my favorite sports clips to watch is female boxing. There's nothing like seeing a chic kick butt and knowing we're not as defenseless and innocent as some people think. It really makes me want to get out there and do some boxing or kickboxing! Someday. Someday!

Now while I'm not a fan of watching the sport live, I also love racing. Racing on an Xbox or Playstation game is awesome! When I don't have to work and there's nothing else to do, my husband and I will sit down and race each other on a video game. And when the kids are around, it just makes it that more fun! One of my favorites is super mario karts. I miss that game!

Well right now SportsVids.com is sponsoring a contest where I can win one of the following prizes for every person who visits my contest link.

1. The new XBox 360
2. Tickets to Michigan vs. Penn State, Saturday, October 18, 2008
3. $100 Gift Certificate from Dick's Sporting Goods

I'd love the XBOX 360 just because I know my husband would love it. Also the Sporting Good's certificate from Dick's isn't a bad deal either. Now I'm not sure what I'd do with the tickets to Michigan vs. Penn State since I would never make it to the game. Probably give them away! I wonder though, can I do that? If so and any of my readers want a chance at those tickets, let me know.

In the meantime, check out my contest link and then check out some SportsVids.

I Left My Husband Last Night

Last night I had the weirdest dream. I was visiting a friend of mine who has since then moved on to bigger and better jobs with her own husband. Well, in that dream she was moving and at a friends house getting the rest of her things. That friend happened to be Joe Montana's brother. He had two kids. A girl and a boy. He also had a lot of money and a lot of stuff in his house. Too much stuff. It reminded me of my mother's house.lol

So while I am there visiting, Joe Montana's brother seems to be really into me. He kept showing off his clothing and told me time I ever wanted to buy anything his credit line was always open to me. Then there was that damn fur coat that he kept trying to give me.lol Even my friend pointed out that Joe Montana's brother was really into me.lol. And all I kept thinking was no way! I am engaged to be married. So apparently while my husband was in the dream, I wasn't yet married to him. That's as much of the dream that I can remember.

Okay, so I get that the dream might be about finances, but why Joe Montana? First of all I hate football. Joe Montana is not someone I really even know about and I haven't even heard his name in years. Plus as far as I know, he doesn't have a brother. So what gives? lol

What's So Fascinating About Football?

I'm not much of a football fan, but I'm not blindsided by the fact that it's a very popular sport. As a matter of fact I hear more about football such as the superbowl more than anything other sport. I often wonder why men and even women are so fascinated by a guy in a helmet who shoves other guys out of the way, just to get a football to the other side. But then again, that's life. People can be easily entertained and it's not always a bad thing either.

So for those who love football, please check out this football picks message board and leave me a comment here if you'd like. I'd love to hear why you find football so fascinating.

Football Craze

I was just checking out the latest searches when I discovered that football is pretty hot right now. I'm not a fan of most sports, especially football... But I am pretty sure that the big playoffs are over with. Or am I wrong? I do have friends who are big sports fans, namely football (Denver Broncos and Kansas City Chiefs)... yet I haven't heard anything about a football game... Hmmm maybe I've just been blind sided by my not-so love for football.lol

Ohh well, to each his own. It is Sunday and I am sure that somewhere in America, guys and girls are enjoying some football game, somewhere!
