Teenagers and Their Phones

So first and foremost I'm insanely responsible for my own opinion as noted below.

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Boost Mobile. All opinions are 100% mine.
Now to get to the good parts of this post, okay so maybe it's all good.

I have teenagers who love to text, share photos and talk on the phone. Not uncommon for a teen of course. But, when it comes to cell phones and trying to keep up with a teenager, it can get downright and insanely expensive. I'm just glad I have a little help with a few family members and I have choices like Boost Mobile and their Re-Boost method for keeping technology from really becoming insane.

So far, after looking at Boost Mobile's Reboost method, I've learned that adding funds to your account can be downright simplified. You can use a credit or debit card when paying online, in person or by phone and payments can be setup so they come out of your account automatically. And just a quick note: One of the things my own cell phone plan doesn't allow is for you to pay in person.

What I can compare my own phone with and Boost Mobile's phones with is their ease of being able to get online to update Facebook and Twitter. However, in order for me to connect to Twitter on my own phone I have to go to Twitter's website to set it up and they only offer tweets sent to my text inbox, whereas Boost Mobile's allows you to automatically tweet from their phones.

And it's really important for me to be able to tweet since I use it as a business and a way to receive extra income in my life. So it is a bit frustrating with my own phone not to be able to do that.

I also use Facebook to keep in touch with friends and family and update them with what's new in my life. Boost Mobile offers Facebook users unlimited connecting to the application for one monthly fee.

Now currently I have a Samsung phone and to be honest, I'm not impressed with it. I would much rather my kids not get one because the signal drops way to easily in my neighborhood and the touch screen is a really pain. So, I'm glad to see that Boost Mobile offers the popular Blackberry phone as well as I1 phone. You can easily pay for the phone by credit card or debit card and I see there is a pay as you go plan, which could be perfect for teens.

Want more information about Boost Mobile's activation process, replenishment options, phone features or options to sign up for additional accessories and extra goodies? My advice is that you click on the button below and visit their site to see what they have to offer. And if you decide to go with Boost Mobile, I would love to know your own opinion on what you think of their phones and plans.

Saving Even More During These hard Times

Lately I've been expressing how much of an increase we've experienced in just about everything. Food, Gas, Homes, etc. With the very possible fear of the economy facing another depression, nothing beats a great deal when it comes to saving money, and lately I've been finding a lot of great deals, both on and offline. While some might not be as useful as other deals, every little bit helps.

One of the most common uses in households today is the telephone. Whether it's calling from a landline or calling from a cell phone, we're always on the phone for business and for pleasure. Either way, we're spending money. Long distance calls can especially be expensive. Just think about it. Making a long distance call to a loved one who lives in another state or even worse, in another country can rack up $100's of dollars on your phone bill each month. And it’s even more hard during these difficult times if you have a loved one who is military and serving somewhere overseas.

Instead of spending hundreds of dollars on long distance bills, there are other alternatives that can save you money. Long Distance phone cards are a great way to save more when it comes to your phone bill. And places like Phone Cards Avenue can allow you to save 80% or more on your long distance phone bill, more than what At&t and Sprint can save you. They can provide you with great savings and you never have to worry about how much your long distance bill will be a month. I love that idea. I wish I could say the same for my Cell Phone Provider, which ironically happens to be through At&t. If you need a cheaper way for keeping your long distance bill at bay, try Phone Cards Avenue and let me know what you think.

Please Note: This is a paid post and is sponsored by Phone Cards Avenue and Payperpost.

Uhh Yeah, Okay

I'm glad I had my phone on silent at work today. Technically phones aren't even allowed at work, but because I had to get a ride from someone other than my usual ride today, I had to take my phone into work. Today after work I noticed 3 different calls from my father. I figured I'd call him back when I got home and could relax a bit but that didn't happen since he decided to show up at my doorstep instead.

And boy was he pissed! He kept yelling he was going to get rid of both of his phones because he doesn't receive calls on them. Of course this was a big hint that I hadn't called him back immediately when he called today. Funny however, because he knew I was at work and can't take calls at work. His call was not an emergency either. He just wanted a phone number that I couldn't give him. He went as far as wanting me to stop eating immediately and get him the number. I tried to explain that I was at work and can't take calls and I was eating dinner and could call him later.

Of course that didn't work, it only pissed him off more. So guess who's getting the blame if he does get rid of his phones? Me of course! Oh well. I doubt he will really get rid of them. It's just another one of his guilt trips. And in case you're wondering... Yes, my dad is always like this. Sigh.
