ClearVoice Offers $97 studies and Surveys

Here's another opportunity I thought at home moms and dads might be interested in.

I am usually not a big fan of surveys that pay you money, but this one looks promising and so far they haven't filled my email box with a bunch of junk. I have heard that they offered $97 for a focus group. That's really good. I did a focus group last year on step-families and made $250 from it. Not through ClearVoice, however. This was through another company that only does private studies.

I'm giving ClearVoice a try and we'll see what happens. I am told they send 3-4 surveys per a week for 5-10 questions that are quick an easy. Unfortunately it's only 25 cents per a survey. Still, that's 75 cents a week if it only take s a few minutes to complete. $3 per a month. Not much, but it all adds up. Plus if I'm able to get into one of the focus groups, that's a lot more money that can go towards a car and debt!

Get $5 for giving a quick Opinion!

I'm not getting paid for letting people know this, but I thought it would be a good opportunity for at-home parents who are looking to make an easy few bucks. Miller Piano is looking for feedback about their website. You can fill out a quick survey and they will send you a check for $5 for your time. Nothing to purchase, ever. Pretty simple.

The Real Rules For Working at Home Part 1

For many at home parents, the idea of making a little money online sounds great. But, for some there's still that question of.... "How do I get started?"

If your goal is to make a little money online, the first thing you want to avoid are work-at-home scams.

The Number One Rule in this is: Any job asking you to send them money in order to make money is a SCAM. Simply put. You can argue all day long that, "Ohh, I can make money and get my money back by joining this program." However, I just don't and won't buy it. Now don't get me wrong, there are people out there who have made money this way, but I am a firm believer that you can make money online without having to spend money. Why? Well, because for most of us who are already on a tight budget, spending (wasting) money is something we simply can't afford.

Now let me add this. If you're spending money on a domain or upkeep for your website(s), or something along that line, that's different. What I am talking about is those work-at-home programs that ask you to send them money in order to get the job and then never pay up.... or ask you to send money and tell you in little tiny print that, "You could make money, but it's not a guarantee."

Number Two: You simply cannot expect to start a blog or a website and make big bucks overnight. It just doesn't happen that way. What you should expect is to make a reasonable amount of money overtime and then work your way up the ladder from there.

Number Three: It takes time and a lot of work to make money. Even an at-home job isn't something as simple as a few clicks and you're rolling in the money. It takes a lot of hard work and patience to make your blog or website a killer success. Even after you begin making money, you can't just expect the blog or website to run by itself. You'll still have to update it in order to keep things fresh if you want to keep earning money.

Number Four: You can't expect to earn a steady amount of money if you just rely on one source. Soo many bloggers like John Chow, can tell you this. It's been known as the phrase: "Don't put all your eggs (ads) into one basket." And of course, it's true. This goes for more than just ads, however. If you write reviews or articles like I do, you can't limit yourself to writing for one source or company such as payperpost. You have to get out there and keep yourself open to other resources as well.

Okay, I think I've said enough for now. If you have something to add to the above, please feel free to comment. I'd love to hear what you have to say.

In the meantime, I'll be sharing how to get started in working at home and obtaining goals for making money, in future posts!

Fight For Kisses - Baby Vs. Daddy

You really have to see this link/trailer. Fight For Kisses I wonder what computer animation techs and consumer product industries will think of next.

Uhh Yeah, Okay

I'm glad I had my phone on silent at work today. Technically phones aren't even allowed at work, but because I had to get a ride from someone other than my usual ride today, I had to take my phone into work. Today after work I noticed 3 different calls from my father. I figured I'd call him back when I got home and could relax a bit but that didn't happen since he decided to show up at my doorstep instead.

And boy was he pissed! He kept yelling he was going to get rid of both of his phones because he doesn't receive calls on them. Of course this was a big hint that I hadn't called him back immediately when he called today. Funny however, because he knew I was at work and can't take calls at work. His call was not an emergency either. He just wanted a phone number that I couldn't give him. He went as far as wanting me to stop eating immediately and get him the number. I tried to explain that I was at work and can't take calls and I was eating dinner and could call him later.

Of course that didn't work, it only pissed him off more. So guess who's getting the blame if he does get rid of his phones? Me of course! Oh well. I doubt he will really get rid of them. It's just another one of his guilt trips. And in case you're wondering... Yes, my dad is always like this. Sigh.

A Weekend Gone WILD!!!

Well, not really... but it felt that way!

I started out wondering why my period was sooo out of whack. Never found the true answer, so I'm guessing it's from stress. On top of the period however, I seem to have gained a nasty little cold. My fiance and I thought it was the flu at first, but it turned out to just be a simple cold.

Friday, I received a surprise phone call from my kids. They were excited about the birthday cards I had sent them and thanked me for them. It was great to be able to talk to my kids even if it was for only a few minutes!

Saturday was really a lazy day, but we managed to make it to the grocery store, my soon-to-be brother-in-law's house to pick up a pool pump and play a game of heroscape. Originally my fiance was suppose to play paintball with his brother, but it rained and it was going to cost way too much to rent the paintball stuff. Soo hopefully he can reschedule a game of paintball with his brother again soon.

Sunday we went to a family reunion. At first my fiance didn't really want to go, but after I begged and pleaded with him, he finally gave in. The reunion started out a little awkward for both of us. Neither of us really knew anyone (distant relatives I hadn't seen in years), but by the end of the evening my fiance seemed to be enjoying himself.

After the reunion we stopped by my aunt's house to pick up some plants that she had for me. I thought we would stay longer than we did, but I should have known better when it comes to my father... Back up.. Reverse... To make a long story short we drove down to the reunion with my parents because my fiance's truck has been giving us a lot of problems lately.

Soo anyway, our visit with my aunt was about 20 minutes or so and then my dad's desperate, if not down right rude attempt at leaving, was made known. His reason behind it? My uncle showed up to visit. Another long story, but my dad doesn't get along with most of my mom's family and especially not with my uncle. And when I say get along, I don't mean fights or anything like that. I just mean, my dad chooses not to get along with him. You'd really have to know my dad to understand I guess.

So after our fast getaway from my aunt's, all the way back (a 30 minute drive) home, I heard this and that about my uncle. It got tiring after about the third repeat of the same negative thing and I finally stuck up for my uncle, which stopped my dad dead in his tracks and we had peace and quiet the rest of the ride home. I often wonder why my mother doesn't say anything to him, when he degrades her family like he did that day. Funny however, she did agree with me out loud when I stuck up for my uncle. She just doesn't voice her opinion on her own. Sigh..

Soo that was pretty much my weekend... As for Memorial Day?? Well that's a whole other post on it's own!

Another New Paid To Blog Service

www.smorty.com is another new paid to blog service that I just signed up for. Just like the other paid to blog services, Smorty offers both advertisers and bloggers a way to connect and get something in return. While Smorty is still new to the game of Paid to Blog services, I believe they do have potential.

There is a FAQ's area if you're curious to learn how the site works or just want to get an answer to your question.

You can also have the opportunities sent to your email account.

They also allow you to post in more than one blog, so that you can earn even more money.

Plus you can also join their affiliate program and earn even more money.

Not bad, not bad at all! The really great thing I love about this site though, is that you get paid weekly! I would much rather be paid once a week rather than once a month.

This would be a great place for stay-at-home moms and dads, grandparents or college kids who want to make a little extra money. To give you an example, I am getting paid $6 for this post. $6 is breakfast for the kids for a week! Plus it all adds up in the end!

If you love blogging and you would love to get paid for blogging , then you should definitely give www.smorty.com a shot.

Get Paid to Post with Payperpost

I've been a member of payperpost a viral marketing program, for about a month now. Now I did have a little trouble getting started with posting due to my own error but, I love this site for one reason. There are tons of advertisers looking for bloggers to post about them. And what does that mean for us? More Money of course! Plus they pay quite a bit more than some of the other paid for post sites out there do. The highest so far that I've been paid is $5, but I have several posts pending with them where the amounts are no less than $10. Great huh??? I've seen posting opportunities for as much as $300 and even heard about a blogger getting paid $2000 for a post. How cool is that??

The really cool thing about this site is, the show the top earning bloggers on the main page and how much they've earned so far. -It's great encouragement I think and a way to say, Yes! I can make that much too! Currently the top blogger has made $11,545.84! I can't wait to be in that area!

Another great feature that payperpost has is, the Blog Of The Day area. Here you can view other bloggers just like you that are getting paid to post with the site.

This is really a great site for moms, dads, college kids and grandparents who are really into blogging and want to get paid for it.
