Promoting with a Calendar

In the future I've thought about taking the idea of my work as a free-lance writer and promoting myself for the whole world to see. Or promoting myself as an author when I do finally publish that novel. In order to do something like that, I'm going to need help and something that will catch the attention of my clients/readers.

I believe custom printed calendars can be an excellent way to promote a business and or name. I don't know anyone who doesn't have at least one calendar in their house. I know we have about 4 or 5 with different local businesses on them.

Blueberry Brands custom printed calendars offers an easy way to promote any business at a reasonable price. Some as low as 89 cents per a calendar. Looking for a specific theme? Blueberry Brands offers a variety of calendar themes to suit even the pickiest person. Yep, that'd be me!

I was even thinking.... It might be kind of neat to send these out as a thank you for weddings or other special events. Families or the Bride and Groom can put their info and a special message on the calendar. Newlyweds could even go one step further and purchase the scenic calenders as a reminder of "We're on Our Honeymoon." to family members. Maybe even visit those scenic views.

There are so many possibilities for these custom printed calendars!

Stolen Pens No More

I am always needing pens, even more so now since I took on the job working outside of the home. Most of the time I'll have a pen for maybe two days before it ends up disappearing..yes, even at home. While I love having one favorite pen, I've come to the reality that having several of the same pen is more important. Even better would be owning a pen that has my name on it. That way people will know it's my pen! Now whether it will help prevent them from disappearing....I don't know, but it would still be nice to have my name on them.hehe

Pensrus can easily help me accomplish this by offering advertising pens through their website. Now why I might not really need the advertising, it certainly wouldn't hurt since I am a freelance writer.hehe The great thing about it is they have many pens that are stylish and well under 69 cents each. How cool is that?

If you're looking for a way to promote your own work or business, check out Pensrus.... they may very well be what you're looking for.

Promoting for what it's really worth...

Over the past few days I have noticed a lot of people promoting their blogs and websites to make money. That's great, but what I wonder is how many people really believe in what they are promoting? Very few I am guessing.

Why am I even asking this question, you may be wondering. Well, let's look at it this way, if you were to go to a blog or site promoting a particular product with no real info about that product, how likely are you going to click on that link? Not very likely I am willing to bet. If you sit down and take the time to promote products or services that you would use/have used, or would highly recommend to a friend or family member, your chances of a reader clicking on that link are going to increase!

Like for instance, I'm not a techno geek. While I may l have a love/hate relationship with my laptop and have taken it a part and put it back together again, I am certainly not going to start promoting laptops, computers or anything else related to my laptop. Now if by chance I've used that brand of laptop or just bought one, then I might throw in a link to promote that particular item. It all boils down to, if I haven't used it and I never plan to, I'm not going to promote it. Same for services and organizations. If I don't believe in them, I'm not going to promote them.

Really, I promise I am not a bitch .lol I just can't see myself promoting something that I wouldn't want to use or be a part of. :)
