Books, Books and more Books

Ever had an interest in Amazon books? I don't know about you, but I am a book lover and it drives some of my family members crazy. I have tons of books that I've bought used, new and gotten for free that I read whenever I get a free moment, which currently is far and few in between.

And then when I'm done reading the books, I give them to family members, trade them for other books or put them in my keep collection. So far I have about 20 books in my keep collection, which include everything from The Outsiders to North and South and War Cloud's Passion. So as you can see it's a sort of variety selection, but one that I love very much!

The Journal

She'd purchased Amazon books many times before, so today was no different. The online website BUY had thousands of books on any subject imaginable, although books on the Amazon were here favorite. There wasn't a topic she hadn't read, a story she hadn't seen, words that hadn't crossed her lips.

So, when she logged into her account she was surprised to see the old journal load on her computer screen. It wasn't that it was so unusual to see a book, it was just odd to see an old one because BUY primarily dealt in new items.

But the old journal opened and she suddenly found herself staring at pages that were slowly beginning to glow right before her eyes. What the hell? She stared as the journal's pages pulsated faster and faster until a sudden bright light flashed across the screen. And then, she saw the words. Words that seemed to just float off of the page and suspend in midair before her.

For a moment it was as if time had stood and then the words were gone and when she looked back at her computer screen, she realized the journal was gone as well. And in that same moment she considered the idea that it was all a dream. Just a freaky dream because she loved books so much. And maybe it would have been a perfect dream until she saw the old journal lying on her desk, it's pages slowly beginning to glow.

Hopefully this will all change, but who knows!

I Own Ex-WCW's Wrestler, Sting

In the past I was an employee with Amazon. My favorite thing about working there was being able to see all of the different books that Amazon had to offer. To me the Amazon books were the best thing about working at Amazon, but hey... I'm a book lover!

I've also been known to order Amazon books as well. As a matter of fact, the last book I ordered was Sting's (WCW Wrestler) Autobiography. I have yet to read the book, but I have it! I am a huge fan of Sting. I have been since he began his wrestling career when I was around five years old.

One of these days I will get around to reading his book, but for now I will just enjoy the fact that I have Sting in my home and spent less than $6.00 for it, and that included shipping!

Oprah's Book Club Make's Amazon Rich.

By now most people know about Amazon.com, but what many may not know is apparently, Thanks to Oprah Winfrey's Book club, they're getting rich!

Several weeks ago I was picking the book Eckhart Tolle's, "A New Earth" for shipment to Amazon's customers like crazy. At first I wondered why. I mean to be honest, after looking at the back cover, the guy sort of came across as creepy to me. Why would someone like Oprah Winfrey pick such a book, I thought to myself.

After picking about 200 copies of the book in one day, I decided to do a little research and check this guy out. As it turns out, Eckhart Tolle's "A New Earth" is a sort of spiritual guide to life. In his book he shows you how to find your own life's purpose and a lot of people, including Oprah are loving the idea of his book.

They're loving it so much in fact, that Oprah and Eckhart are joining forces on March 3rd to teach an online class about the subject. How insane is that? So insane that the book has already sold a whopping 3.5 million copies!

While I might not be big into the belief of spirituality, it definitely looks like an interesting book and class, and I'd say a lot of people would agree.
