Economy Shopping For Free

Most of us are always looking for great ways to save money because of the economy and cheap bedroom furniture like what you can find from CSN Stores is certainly no exception. Of course that's the last thing on my mind since I'm updating my kitchen at the moment, but that doesn't mean I'm still not loving what CSN has to offer because they're giving me another opportunity to review a product of theirs and I'm headed straight to their kitchen department!

So what I want to know is, if you had the opportunity to review a product from CSN for free, would you be willing to do it -because I would certainly be willing to give away a coupon code for CSN! Now the real question is, what would you choose?

Well, Maybe a Chair

When I think of office furniture, I think used. Now don't get me wrong, I like the new stuff, but I'm in love with antiques and not long ago I found a desk that I only spent $25 for! Now of course the hubby wasn't impressed because it's big and bulky and he had to load that sucker in and out of the truck, but he finally gave in and after a little cleaning up from the dust, it's a beautiful piece!

So now my next purchase will be an office chair. Unfortunately, it may also be a new chair since I'm not fond of the old antique chairs that are hard to sit in. But, who knows! Until then however, I'll be using the chair I stole from the hubby that drops back down to the floor every time you barely move in the sucker.

The Program

The patio furniture looked old and worn as if it'd come from another time, another place. And she would bet it had, even though not many here would admit to that fact.

She looked around some more and saw that someone had tied a live rooster up to the pole. Shaking her head she made her way toward the over-sized bird to free it when a well dressed man with short dark hair placed his hand on her arm and said, "Don't. It's a symbol. It means the future is bright. They'll let him go at the end of the day."

"Oh."
she shook her arm loose, ignoring the sudden tingling that surged through her body from his touch.

"You want to follow me?" He asked pointing her away from the rooster who was now crowing and seemed very content with making noise than worrying about being tied to the pole. She started to shake her head at the handsome man until he chuckled at her reaction and said, "Don't worry. I know you're a volunteer. I'm a head volunteer, so I get to show all the new people the ropes." She nodded and then smiled as he led the way as he continued his conversation. "There are a lot of people here that need our help. Thank you for being a part of this by the way. I just hope we're not too late. We're losing them to the drug more and more by the hours."

The Bare Deck

We have a bare deck. It's slowly starting to fall apart. At one time before the floods began and when the weather wasn't an unbearable 103 degrees, we had ideas and wanted to install and hot tub and some patio furniture on that deck. We would have needed accessories like patio furniture covers from places like Cozy Days, and a really nice grill to enjoy summer with. I could have imagined yummy grilled veggies and relaxing days away from having to cook on the stove under a cooled patio set thanks to those furniture covers.

Now, we're just trying to fight the heat with a broken Central Air Unit and enjoy our pool when the sun goes down and the mosquitoes come out. So, how's your summer going for you so far?

Old Furniture Different Life

Years ago when I lived in New Jersey we started off not having any real furniture. This was due to the fact that the moving company had not made it to our home on time and they damaged a lot of our property.

So we were offered a sectional couch that literally took up the entire living room.lol Of course it would never have been my first choice in couches, however it wasn't a time to be picky and eventually the sectional grew on me.

Today I have two recliners sitting in my living room. And while they are on their last breath of life, there's not a lot I can do about it because of the current situation. Maybe someday I'll update, but I doubt it will be anything big because our living room is not set up for giant furniture.

Maybe if I still lived in New jersey and things were different that old sectional might have been updated with a new one. Maybe I would have considered the discount sectionals offered by Furniture E Superstore or maybe we would have shopped locally. Who knows!

What I Really Need

I'm getting tired of working at a kitchen table, so I was thinking.... Eventually I am going to need some new Office Furniture. When my husband and I had big plans to move to California, we sold just about everything we owned. So, right now I am working on an antique kitchen table instead of the Office Desk I used to have. It’s too big, too bulky and sticks halfway out into the middle of the dining room/office floor.

To make matters worse, this black leather office chair that we kept, that was in great condition, the cats have used as their scratching post. Unfortunately, there aren't really any office furniture stores in the area, so looking at Office Chairs, desks or anything else for that matter is nearly impossible.

So if I want to buy new office furniture, I guess I'm going to have to buy it online or get a decent vehicle that runs so that we can drive out of this tiny little town and do some real shopping. Well I was looking around and found I like officesupermarket. I've visited their site before through a friend and they have a lot of nice stuff. The only problem I see is that they are from United Kingdom. I could always have my friend ship the furniture to me.lol Just kidding Nattu!

Years ago I had this great cherry stained desk. I loved it. I can't remember where it was purchased at, but I wouldn't mind another cherry stained desk again. The one thing I don't want is a huge desk. The window that we have is a bay window and I would hate to block it off in any way. My husband wouldn't care, but he's not the one who works in an at-home office.lol I absolutely love looking out our bay window. It’s the highlight of my dreary days.

Now as far as the office chair, my husband might actually care about it.lol The black leather chair was originally his. But, of course I needed a chair to work in, so I took it over.lol My husband likes the big comfy chairs, which of course is why we have the big leather one.

I used to have a gray cloth office chair. It was another piece of office furniture that I loved because it was simple, yet comfortable. However, I can guarantee it wouldn’t survive even five minutes with our kittens who think they own the place.lol

I also had a white desk to go with that chair. Thinking back, I think both color choices were wrong, pets or no pets. They get dirty very easily and it’s just not very practical, so this time around I think I will stick with the darker shades.

Right now however, I just don't know what to do. While I am tired of working at a kitchen table, buying anything new is simply out of the question. What do you think? Should I buy something overseas or stick to a local place? I should upload a picture of the chair and table, just to show you what I'm talking about.lol

New Office Furniture

I know eventually I am going to need some new Office Furniture. Just before we decided to try to move to California, we sold all of our furniture and belongings that weren't necessary, to cut the cost of moving expenses. Since office furniture really isn't a necessity, we sold what we had. The desk wasn't in the best shape anyway, so eventually when our finances are better, a new desk would be fabulous. Right now, I am working on a kitchen table. It's big and bulky and I'm no longer able to see outside of the bay window. So, what's a girl to do?

Well, for now there is not much I can do, but when I do have the money to splurge on a new desk, I found that OfficeSupermarket has a nice selection of Home Office Furniture. They have everything from the simplest office desk, to the executive desk, to Office Tables and more.

I was looking at more than just their desks, though. The cats are beginning to claw up the leather office chair we do have. There are some very nice office chairs at some really great prices. They also have a five-year guarantee on all of their furniture, which is great! I don't know about you, but I hate it when I buy what I think is a great piece of furniture and it ends up falling apart a few months later.

Well, maybe it’s just me and I am picking the wrong kind of furniture? I did take a look at OfficeSupermarket’s step-by-step desk guide to help me decide which desk is right for me. Should I get a glass desk that the cats or kids could easily break, or maybe a sturdy desk like a cherry oak desk that can withstand more wear and tear?

No matter which desk maybe right, a reasonable price still takes priority in my book. When I am shopping online I want the best price possible. I don’t want to be spending hundreds of dollars on furniture that might not outlast the cats or kids in this household. And if I can get away with not having to spend a lot of shipping, then that’s even better.

I found out that OfficeSupermarket does offer delivery at 10% of the total purchase price. So it’s pretty reasonable if you live in the area. The only downfall I’ve learned is, I don’t live in the area. Still, if you live in the area, the delivery fee isn’t such a bad deal and neither are their prices.

Working From Home

When you're working from home the farthest thing from your mind is new office furniture. Often times however, it can be difficult trying to work on a kitchen table or sit in a metal chair and not be distracted from work. This is where Of Concepts comes in. Of Concepts offers a nice variety of office furniture for both home and company office.

There is a presidential desk that is absolutely beautiful and I found several office chairs that look sooo comfy. When buying furniture online however, the one thing that always worried me is hidden shipping and handling charges. With Of Concepts, there is no need since they automatically includes the shipping and handling in the purchase price. How cool is that?

If you're thinking about new office furniture, Of Concepts is definitely worth the look.

Pottery Barn and Saving Big With CouponChief.com

A few days ago I received Pottery Barn Catalog in the mail. Well, since then, I've discovered that it's my favorite place to shop! I love their style and ideas for furnishings and home decor. I couldn't believe that I was able to find furnishings and decor for every room in our home! What I love about Pottery Barn is their beautiful crafted wood furniture. I found a farmhouse Bedroom suite that I am absolutely in love with. I also found several light fixtures that would be great for the kitchen and a toilet paper roll/magazine rack for the bathroom. Most of their style has an old farmhouse theme, but somehow they manage to mix it and make it modern and suitable for just about any room in the house. Their also big on the beach house theme, which I love the most!

I also discovered that CouponChief.com has coupon deals for Pottery Barn. Very Nice! I can find FREE SHIPPING and SALE ITEMS. Can't beat that!
