Just me Rambling
If you've ever been in a car accident then you know how worrisome they can be. You worry whether everyone is okay in both vehicles and then you worry about how bad the damage is on your vehicle and theirs. And finally, you worry if your car insurance is going to skyrocket because of the accident. I've been in enough accidents to know how nerve wracking they can be. I think the worst was when the car hydroplaned and a pool stick came 2 inches from killing me. Yep, a true story.
One of the first things I noticed when my husband got his new truck was the major fender dent on the driver side of the vehicle. It had been made from the previous owner and I wonder what went through their mind when the accident happened. And then it dawned on me that they had obviously never had the damage repaired.
So I wonder did they not have the right cover to fix the damage or maybe they were at fault and the insurance company refused to repair it. Or could it have just been that they blew the money on what they considered to be more important matters rather than taking it to an auto body repair shop. We will probably never know and I'm sure in their mind it just means it's something they no longer have to worry about.

We're Starting the New Years With a Bang
I've hinted that he should just fix the truck's problem for now and then worry about a new vehicle when we can afford one, but I really don't think he wants to do that. So, I guess his dreams of making his truck like new again are on hold. At one time he was considering parking it in the garage and rebuilding the engine and body of it. I don't really know if he would want to add a supercharger to his baby, but who knows!
I know if he ever does, superchargerpros might be the place to go. I've checked them out before and they seem pretty cool. They have superchargers for just about every car and truck built. You can find a mercedes supercharger, Buick and Pontiac just to name a few.
They look like they have some great prices from what I can see, but I have yet to check anywhere else for something like this. And people seem to love their customer service, so that is definitely a bonus. And even better is their free shipping!

This Insane Heat
We rented a car over the weekend and I am glad we did. For one, the truck we have wouldn't have made a long trip out of town and for another, it doesn't have the comforts of air conditioning. It's an old truck, so it's expected. If we don't trade the truck in for a jeep, something my husband badly wants, something we'll eventually get after all of the other problems are fixed is an air conditioning compressor for the old truck. It might be nice having true air conditioning by then, but then again, rolling down the windows works just as well in this insane heat.
