Moving On

Sometimes life can be about pain and sometimes it can be about ignorance. Either way, someone is bound to get hurt. And there will be a few of us who will do something about it and those who won't be able to afford to or will choose not to for whatever tortured reason.

For those who decide to choose to move on from the past they may opt for something like acne scar removal or simply cover it up with cosmetic makeup. And while I have been blessed with not having major acne, I remember a family member of my cousin's who did have a very bad case of acne, that it left very deep scars all over his face.

I have not seen him in years, but I often wonder, did he move on? Or is he still in the past fearing the worst from society's unforgiving stares and words. I hope he was able to move on.

Perfection isn't Wonderful

Whoever said that perfection is a wondrous thing has never met a real woman. Today as I tried to relax in the bathtub(made it 2 minutes before the first knock on the bathroom door came!), I took a good long look at all of the new scars that have suddenly and not so suddenly invaded by skin.

First there are the tiny blood vessels, mostly on my upper left thigh. And then there are the stretch marks that have left their marks from pregnancy. All the way from my tummy to my hips and thighs. And finally there are permanent razor burn looking dots all over my legs which do nothing at all for my already dry skin. And then I realized, I am far from perfect. Yet, these are the scars that prove I exist in this insane world and that I have lived life.

While not every mark has to be left in order to prove that we exist, not ever little
imperfection means that we are less than perfect either. For me, I would much rather have lived than look like a plastic doll that had no life at all.

Lowlights, facial brighteners, ohhh my!!!!!!!

Okay,

So my recent article research has been on lowlights. So far it's interesting reading since it was something I wasn't very familiar with. It will definitely be an interesting article to write about.

Lately, most of the articles I right, I've been checking out the
ideas for myself. One I did a while back was about facial brighteners. Well, after writing the article I decided I wanted to try them, so when my fiance and I ventured out to our local wal-mart I decided to hunt them down. End the end my fiance even got in on the search.lol Turns out wal-mart doesn't carry the stuff, so it looks like if I really want to purchase a facial brightener I'll be looking for it elsewhere.

Now that I am writing an article on lowlights, I am seriously considering having those done. I was talking to a friend who has lowlights and she left me with a positive note, so who knows!
