I was sifting through some sites I had bookmarked when I ran across yahoo's advice from experts. In particular was an article on how to get a guy to listen to you in relationship. One of the suggestions was talking to him in the car.

I really don't know what that expert was thinking, but starting serious conversations in a car can be very dangerous if it ends in an argument! Drivers tend to lose focus on their driving which can lead to an accident! That was not very good advice in my opinion!!

Losing Almost Everything I Had

Lately I've been wanting a digital camera really bad. I've entered a few contests on some blogs and I am crossing my fingers and hoping for the best. I used to have a digital camera and I loved it. But I lost a lot of things when I decided to move away from a very negative relationship. Materialist things like digital cameras can be replaced. Lives cannot. But, it would be nice to have another digital camera some day so I can do great things with my projects like, Just Believe and continue to make revenue on this blog. Someday. Sigh. Someday.

Dreams and Migraines

Apparently last night's stressful events (I won't go into details) is causing a severe migraine headache today. I've found that the only thing that works for my headaches is Excedrin for migraine, but I don't like taking any medications unless I necessarily have to. I am wondering if there are some alternatives to take medications for a migraine headache. If I have some time today, I may do some research on Migraines. If anyone else who has experienced migraines and found some great alternatives to them... I'd love to hear about it!

Also, I had a weird dream last night. It involved my husband's dad and wanting someone (I thought it was my husband, but now I am not so sure)to join the merchant marines. I wouldn't even know anything about the merchant marines except I was watching a movie called, "The Cutting Edge" last night that mentioned them in it. My father-in-law was insistent that the someone join the merchant marines because the job I had just wasn't enough. I was insistent that he not go because I would not see him for almost a year and military changes a man for the worse. He becomes angry and violent. I had pointed out that our best friend was married to a marine and he became physically violent. They also never saw one another.


Then another part of my dream involved water and a beach/park and a snake that was poisonous. I was telling my husband about the snake that I knew was poisonous and tried to strike me. My husband argued that his ex-wife said the snake was not poisonous or the type of snake I had mentioned that it was. A complete stranger ended up getting struck by that snake instead of me(I'm think she intervened with me and the snake) , who we later became friends with. The park compensated her with about $7000 in money and free passes to the park/beach.

Love & Mysticism A Very Interesting Blog and Owner

About a week ago I was privileged enough to be able to work with Vikram Madan from Love & Mysticism. His knowledge with HTML and script was very helpful and I was able to clear up some errors with my blog. Because of this, I wanted to return the favor by posting a review of his blog, so here it is.

If you stop by Love & Mysticism, first off you'll notice that it's rated 17 and over. There's a good reason for this! Virkam has a very deep opinion about love, relationships and life in general. Don't let his writing offend you, however. If you look deeper into the meaning of his posts you'll find a very strong opinion, yes. But, you will also find that in many ways there is some truth to what he writes.

One of my favorite posts from him (actually there's a couple) is a post called, Indefense of George Michael. Here there is a lot of anger in his post, so if you are offended very easily, then you may not want to read what he has to say. If you can look beyond his anger however, you'll find some truth there. Many people do strike out at George Michael, because of his sexual preference and I truly wonder why? Now it doesn't mean a reader is interested in homosexuality as Vikram somewhat suggests, but maybe they just truly do not understand it.

After George's partner passed away, I felt so badly for him. I am sure not everyone was harsh to criticize him, but I am very sure there were some who did. What if people did not know George was gay? What if they got to know him and never asked his sexual preference? Then what?

If we judge others based on their looks, sexual preference, etc.... what does that tell us about ourselves? Instead of judging others, I choose to look further and view what is inside of a person. I hope you do as well.

Another post that I found to be of interest from Vikram is one called, Hypocrisy. In it Vikram talks about some artwork that he re-created. The artwork however, was that of a woman who is topless. Now while I am not one who believes in posting porn all over the internet, I saw nothing wrong with the artwork he re-created. A few others however, did and I am not sure why. To be very honest, this post actually reminded me of the novel, "The Scarlet Letter." The reason however is far different from partially nude artwork. Instead, it reminded me of the hypocritical opinions of those in that era.
