Before You Go Under...

A Tummy Tuck isn't just some everyday routine thing in life. While many of us may already know that, there are some who do not.

When I first wrote an article about liposuction for the company I work for, I thought it would be a very easy, very simple article. It wasn't. Back then I knew very little about liposuction and what was really involved. When I say involved I mean the research in finding a doctor who is qualified for the surgery and knowing what questions to ask before going under the knife.

Talk to friends or family who've had a tummy tuck. Just because a plastic surgeon is listed in the phone book does not mean that he or she is a qualified surgeon. Most of us would not trust our hair with just any hairstylist, so why trust our bodies with just any surgeon?

Do your research. The surgeon you choose should be willing to do a consultation with you beforehand. If not, run the other way.

During the consultation the surgeon should go over the procedure with you and answer any questions or concerns you may have. He or she will also take a look at your age, health and medical history, your tolerance for certain medications you make have to take to decide whether or not you’re a good candidate for this type of procedure. The surgeon should also provide your with a set of instruction on preparing for your surgery.

Without the above, you're putting your life at risk. You could get an infection, have an allergic reaction or worse... die.

Surgery is no simple matter, so when considering a Tummy Tuck, consider yourself as a delicate china that can be broken permanently. I would only suggest having a tummy tuck as a last resort. Then when you think you are ready, do your research. Once you've done your research, check out Mya and their article on having a Tummy Tuck done.

Mya is one of the United Kingdom's largest cosmetic surgery companies and their article I think is worth the read.

Music For the Fans

For fans, sometimes it's hard to find every new and happening band that's trying to break into the music world ....and for bands just starting out, it's even harder to keep in contact with fans from all over the world.

I remember in high school how we used to pass along flyers of new and upcoming bands by way of pen pals to promote bands. Times have changed however and postage is no longer reasonable. It's also so much easier to get in touch with both fans and bands through the internet.

And... IndieMV - Musical Intercourse has made it even better by offering music lovers every where a way to keep in touch through video, chat and profile. So whether you are a fan of music or a band looking for fans, IndieMV can make it possible.

This is a great way to offer unsigned bands some exposure and get them noticed! It is also a great way for fans to view new music and get in touch with other fans who love music just as much.

Making a Move

About 3 years ago I made the biggest change in my life and moved to Las Vegas, Nevada to start all over again. My decision to move there was thanks to a friend who I'd met through writing. She was a long time resident of Las Vegas and boasted about the city every chance she had.

While Las Vegas wasn't really for me due to the fact that I'm not fond of the desert 24/7.... it doesn't mean you may feel the same way. Las Vegas has many opportunities and a great place to be if you love the tourist life, the celebrities, gaming, etc. Job opportunities are extremely wonderful there as well.

If you're on the move whether you love the thought of a big city or your job is taking you new places..or you already live in Las Vegas, you might want to consider buying a home through Las Vegas Real Estate Properties. After all, doing it alone can be a pain if you've never been there before.

If you're not new to the area, but you're ready to make an escape like I did..... Las Vegas Properties can help you with that as well. Whatever your needs, check them out. If you're from Vegas or you're considering a move there, let me know. I do have friends who still live there and can be very helpful on getting around the city.

I Want One!

I actually miss having a digital camera. They were so much fun and I could just shoot photos and upload very quickly without having to worry about the hassle of having anything developed. Plus I could see the photos right away.

I am hoping to get another digital camera soon, like maybe for Christmas. Wishful thinking on my part I'm guessing since my other half isn't really into gift giving. I guess if worse comes to worse I can just buy the camera myself. I found that ritzcamera.com has a really nice selection of digital cameras.

You can even get digital picture frames from them if you like. You can also use their bill me later purchase if your order is more than $500. Pretty cool I think... Especially since Christmas is right around the corner.

I really don't need anything fancy, however. I think a simple digital camera is all I need. One that will take crisp clear photos from up close or a distance..with the ability to see the photo immediately.

If you're wishing for a digital camera like I am for Christmas or whatever the occasion... Send your better half, friend or family member this way and have them check out ritzcamera.com for a nice selection of digital cameras.

PayU2Blog

I just recently started blogging for payu2blog.com. I'm already impressed with this pay per post website. Not only are the posts easy, they pay quickly as well. I just started with them last week and I've already been paid $15 from them. it might not seem like a lot, but $15 is a lot of money for us.

The only drawback with this site is you must blog about whatever they assign to you, so if it's something you're not into, it can be a problem. Also the posts only pay $5 per post, but the posts only need to be 60 words long, so I think it's well worth it.

Weight Loss With a Patch??

I'm very leery when it comes to weight loss ideas, especially when they cost a lot of money and then they simply don't work. That's what's great about the hoodia patch from hoodiapatchtrial.com. They offer you a free 1 week trial, so you know whether it's going to be worth it or not.

The patch is actually made with with authentic South African hoodia, a plant that resembles a cactus and is said to be an excellent way to fight hunger. Formulated in a patch, the hoodia patch allows your brain to think that you're fool..letting you lose weight. It boosts your metabolism while suppressing your appetite. How cool is that?

The hoodia patch has been seen in Oraph Winfrey's O Magazine and on 60 minutes Report. I love Oprah Winfrey and anything she has to say, so I'm already excited that this product may very well be worth looking into. While I may not really need to lose weight, I know readers who are trying to lose weight and I have friends and family wanting to do the same thing.

I believe with the combination of a healthy diet, exercise and a little extra help with a product like the hoodia patch, losing weight can be one less stress in our lives that we have to worry about.

If you're looking for help in losing weight, but don't want to waste money on a product you're not sure of, check out the hoodia patch and get your free 1 week trial. You may very well find that it's the right weight loss product for you.

A Career In Real Estate

At one time I was seriously thinking about a career in real estate after a friend of mine suggested it. She sold homes and made a reasonable amount of money doing so. It was a wonderful idea at the time, but I turned it down for a more reasonable offer in another career choice. For a while I wondered how I would have done as a real estate broker, but I know now that a career in real estate was not for me.

Every person varies however, and even though a career in real estate may not be right for me, it certainly doesn't mean you might not enjoy it! if you've thought about going into real estate, Fastclass.com may be able to help you. Fastclass.com is a Real Estate School Directory that provides information for schools on Real Estate, Mortgage, appraisal, and even Home Inspection. The other great thing about Fastclass.com is they provide you with links to online classes. How cool is that?

If a career in real estate sounds right for you, give them a try and let me know how it goes!

Walking For Alzheimer's Disease

When I was still working as a CNA in nursing homes, I was around many elderly people who had Alzheimer's Disease. There was one lady in particular who would roam the halls and forget where her room was or forget whether she was wearing a sweater or not, that day. Her name was Helen.

Every time I saw Helen roaming, I would stop to visit with her and then assist her to her room or gently remind her that she didn't bring her sweater today. A few hours later she would be roaming the hallways again and I would repeat my visit with her all over again.

While I enjoyed visiting with Helen, it saddened me that she would forget who I was even though we'd visited with one another a few hours prior. It also saddened me that she would not be able to remember her past and cherish the wonderful memories of her life. She would not know her loved ones or be able to talk about old times with them.

Helen passed away a few months after I left the nursing home, but my sadness still remains. While many people are aware of Alzheimer's Disease, they may not be aware that someone out there is willing to do something about the disease. That someone is the Alzheimer's Association and their Memory Walk Program.

Alzheimer's Association Memory Walk is helping to raise awareness and the funds to help fight Alzheimer's Disease. The funds for this walk will also help for care of loved ones with Alzheimer's as well. Alzheimer's Association Memory Walk is asking volunteers of all ages to become a part of the fight for Alzheimer's Disease by starting or joining a team and walking for a purpose.

Through their website you can find information on how to join or start a team. You can also volunteer in other ways if you're unable to join the walk. If you're not sure whether a team has been started in your area, you can type in your zip code and do a search that is provided on the main page of their website.

If there is not a team in your area, why not start one? While you don't need to be a team captain to walk, becoming a team captain is a great start to help in the fight for a cure for Alzheimer's Disease. It's a great way for your to make sure that friends and family are aware of what is going on.

Consider this in volunteering as a team captain:

If you live in a small town like I do, you can change things for loved ones like, Helen.

Make businesses aware of this disease by asking for donations and having them post flyers in their windows.

Talk to friends and family and have them help in your quest by walking with you or donating to this great cause.

Let the local newspaper and radio station know of your cause and see if they will print an article about the walk or announce it on the air.

Talk to nursing homes and get them involved!

The above are just a few ways you can help as a team captain. In the end it's a positive experience knowing that you are a big part of this cause. For me this is a great cause that I want to be a part of. Won't you join me with the Alzheimer's Association Memory Walk in this fight and help loved ones remember?

Become a Team Captain and change a life.

Halloween By Rob Zombie!

Okay, I already know this movie is going to be great! Halloween the movie - and directed by none other than Rob Zombie! If you have no idea who Rob Zombie is, maybe you remember “House of 1000 Corpses” and “The Devil's Rejects,” both movies by Rob Zombie, of course! If you haven’t seen either of those, run to your nearest video store and rent them tonight!

While “House of 1000 Corpses” was a good movie, I think “The Devil’s Rejects” was by far his best work. Now of course I could be wrong, especially when the release of his movie, Halloween the movie hit’s theaters August 31st!

I am actually really excited about this. I absolutely love horror movies and I have always loved the Halloween movies. I am hoping Rob Zombie will take this classic to a whole new level. It’s already obvious that this movie involves Michael Myer’s past. Just from the previews this movie already looks exciting! I am really looking forward to seeing what Rob Zombie has done for “Halloween The Movie.”

I’m actually surprised however, that they did not wait to release this until October 31st. I think this would have been the perfect time for this movie! Not to worry though, I’ll be there August 31st! Hope to see you there too!

For the Love of Paintball

My fiance loves the game of paintball. As a matter of fact, I don't know too many guys who don't love it. What is it about paintball that guys and yes, even some girls... love so much? Maybe it's the adrenaline rush or maybe it's the excitement of shooting at a live target. Who knows!

One thing I do know is that, Ultimate Paintball knows their stuff. They carry a great selection of paintball guns and paintball gear.

They offer well known and top seller guns like: Tippmann A-5, Tippmann 98 Custom, Smart Parts Ion, and Spyder Pilot ACS.

Looking for paintball gear? You'll find everything from Tippmann and Spyder, to Draxxus. Still not finding what you're looking for? Drop by their site and check out their other brands.

On a budget? Ultimate Paintball has the best prices, plus they offer free shipping! How cool is that?? I know my fiance is going to love them!

If you're a big fan of the game like my fiance is, then give Ultimate Paintball a try and we'll see you on the field! This is a paid post and is sponsored by Payperpost.

Gettting a Better Credit Card Rate

Not too long ago I was reviewing my credit card rate when I realized the company is increasing my rate once again. Have I missed a payment? Been late? Nope. They just seem to be losing customers, so they have to make money some how.

After doing a little research on Mint Credit Cards from UK, I realized they definitely have a better credit card deal than the company I am currently with. Not only do they have a great introductory rate, but they've lowered their APR. Something my credit card company refuses to do!

0% on purchases
0% on balance transfers
0% on added balance transfers
14.9% APR variable

How cool is that??? I know that's a heck of a lot lower than my credit card company. As a matter of fact, it's nearly half the rate! Now if that doesn't entice you, they also allow you to manage your card by mobile text and they have a 24 hour customer service line. Not bad, not bad at all!

A Really Cool Auction Site

I was surfing stuff, when I found this really cool auction site called, Bid4Prizes. I'm not sure why I didn't write about them before, but here I am now! Okay the first thing that hit my eye was that 2007 BMW. Cool! I've always wanted a BMW, but then I saw the Nintendo Wii !!!!!!!!! I know my fiance would love that!!

So I went in and signed up. What have I got to lose? Now Here's what's really great about this site. The lowest bid wins! Very cool. Okay so now you're thinking, why pay for 1 million in cash? Well that's the best thing about this site. You don't pay anything. You put in a phony bid and when that bid wins, you get the prize for free!

So how are they able to do that? By advertising of course! They even pay for shipping! Every time I bid I get a point and that point allows me to win other instant win prizes as well. How cool is that? I get up to 20 bids per day to guess the lowest unique bid. If I don't guess the lowest unique bid, Bid4Prizes give me at hint at what the lowest bid is. If I guess the lowest unique bid, I'm in the start for winning that Nintendo Wii. I know my fiance is going to love that!!

Why not give it a try yourself. Who knows, you may very well be the lucky winner to you favorite prize!!!

New -Payperpost Direct

Okay, so I learn something new ever day, which of course is never a bad thing! Payperpost Direct is a new program offered by payperpost, of course. What it does, (here's the part I learned) is it cuts out the middle man when it comes to bloggers getting paid by advertisers for their posts.

So for example: ReviewMe or Blogsvertise get paid by advertisers a really big percentage and then they post what those advertisers are looking for, we take the job offer and get paid by ReviewMe or Blogsvertise for a review that we're not seeing much of a profit from.

Plus, the advertiser should actually be paying us for the review right? Then why the heck is he/she paying somebody like ReviewMe or Blogsvertise most of the money? Well it's not really the advertiser's fault. But you get the idea!

Now, here's what Payperpost Direct does, they find you the advertiser (same thing as the other guys), but they don't hog the profits. About the only thing they take is enough for paypal and credit card fees. So, that's pretty cool! Advertisers can go directly to our site, see the Payperpost Direct widget and if they like our blogging, then they click on that widget and we're seeing the money!! Sooo cool! I'm all up for that!

So, if you're already blogging for payperpost, why not check out payperpost direct? And if you're not already blogging for payperpost? What are you waiting for??? I've made nearly $40 from them in less than a few weeks and I just started with them!!!

Bloggerwave Sending Bad Vibes!!

I was surfing other blogs when I ran across an article sending bad vibes about bloggerwave. it's the first I had heard of the situation, but after checking with bloggerwave today and finding that nothing with the site has been updated, I'm now leary myself of this paid per post company.

Here's the stink:

Bloggerwave has been apparently ripping off a lot of people by not paying for posts. Not only this, but the scary thing is, when someone did get paid, paypal took the payment away. After that blogger called paypal, they learned that bloggerwave had used a credit card or bank account number that had not authorized payment to paypal or that blogger. NOT GOOD!! NOT GOOD AT ALL!

For the full story on what that blogger found out about bloggerwave, read more.

For those who signed up for bloggerwave like I did, you may very well want to keep your ears and eyes open with this company. As of right now I am deleting my bloggerwave paid post and closing my account with them. I have only done one article, so I'm not at a loss as far as that. My only fear is that they could very well use my paypal account as a means of theft!
